*Time Skip To One Week Later*

Y/n's POV

"You cannot sit there and tell me that plant based products are not good for the environment." I argued.

"Well, sure they're good for the environment but I mean what if plants used people the way you use them and they turned you into paper. You wouldn't like it then would you?" Gigi asked sarcastically.

"Is this seriously a conversation you two are having?" Fury asked as he put two plates of different breakfasts in front of me and Gigi.

"It's a very important matter. Besides you gotta get back into the way things were sooner or later." Gigi explained.

"What happened to my little girl?" I asked so surprised by all the knowledge she was obtaining and the wisdom she was speaking.

"Let's just say things happened and I grew." Gigi said and started to eat her breakfast.

"Right, anyways, Y/n how's things with Peter been? Still awkward?" Fury asked.

"Oh no, no, no." I said trying to stop the conversation before it began.

"What? I can't ask how your relationships going?" Fury asked.

"No because that's a very parent thing to do and we agreed you would treat me as a fellow agent and friend an not like a little girl who needs your protection 24/7." I explained.

"Friends talk about relationships." Fury said.

"Okay, me and Peter are planning on having sex soon." I said and smirked as Fury tried to mask the rage mix with worry that was building up inside him.

"That's fine, you-you do you I guess." Fury struggled to get out.

"What's that you feel?" Gigi teased him. "Is it...parental worry? Fear mixed with anger and sadness and worry?"

"No, no. It's a friend like worry." Fury said.

"Really? Cause that's not what it looks like." Gigi teased him more.

"You're not helping." Fury said frustrated.

"We're not planning on having sex or even starting a relationship yet." I told him and Fury let out a big sigh of relief.

"Oh, thank god." Fury said.

"Look, ease the parenting and no more boy talk please. It's makes me just as uncomfortable as it makes you." I said and grabbed my backpack.

"I can do that." Fury said.

"Good, now, I'm meeting Peter so we can walk to school together you two be good." I said and kissed Gigi on the head and gave Fury a hug. "Don't worry, if all else fails you'll always be my foster uncle."

"Okay, go on now." he said and nudged me towards the door.

I met up with Peter at the middle point between our houses and we made our way to MJ's house and then Ned's since they lived on the way and we all walked to school together. Even though things we a extremely hectic this week things were finally starting to feel right.

I had amazing friends and finally got my family back and best of all . . . I was Spider-Man's partner in crime. Well, crime fighting. The girl with crazy animal and god-like abilities, Hybrid or to others Mother of Nature which in the publics eyes means the mother of the Groot (Gigi).

Crime fighting is our afterschool activity and not only do we benefit from it but so does the world. I'm not ready for the world to know who I am yet but if my secret gets out I'll be able to handle it and embrace it. I'm not ashamed of what I've become and neither are Peter or Gigi. We're different, we're mutants.

(Epilogue)

"Did the others ever tell you and Peter what happened when they were in the Hydra base?" a girl asked.

"All they said was that they wished they never saw what they did." Peter replied.

"How did your secrets get out?" a boy asked. "You know about being Spider-Man and Hybrid."

"Well, it was unintentional but let's just say this, someone we thought we could trust wasn't so trustworthy after all." I said.

"Why do you guys go around telling kids your story? Why aren't you out fighting the bad guys?" another girl asked.

"We still are but it's more secret work then anything. We don't have bad aliens coming from other planets or advanced technology that people are using or is working by it's self. Everyone is more peaceful now, after all when we were growing up we didn't get to have the privilege of alien friends or learning about other cultures beyond our tiny planet." Peter explained.

"And it is a privilege. Sometimes things we don't understand can be scary at first but once you dive deeper you learn that not every person or creature or organism is bad. And we can't judge people based on what others have done because that's when we start assuming things and becoming afraid of the unknown. That's why we share our stories with kids. To teach you guys that sometimes you need to explore beyond the surface." I explained.

"As y/n says: "You need to read the book to know the story." Peter quoted me and smiled at me.

Stop being cute. I said telepathically into his thoughts.

Can't help it. he replied in his mind.

"Are you two dating now?" a different girl asked.

"Um..." Peter blushed and I laughed.

"They got married 10 years ago, 3 years after having me." Toni said as she got out of her seat and sat with us in front of her class.

"Our beautiful little girl." I said and stroked her hair like she was a puppy.

"Mom!" she said and back away from my touch.

"Hey, if you're gonna announce to you class that you're our daughter you best believe we're gonna smother you and embarrass you." Peter said and pulled her into a bear hug.

"Okay. I think I made a mistake." Toni said as she struggled to get out of her father's grasp. Since, both mine and Peter's DNA has been mutated, him from the spider bite and me from my experiments, our daughter didn't inherit human-like characteristics. So when Toni finally got out of Peter's grasp she accidently sent him falling backwards in his chair. "Oops, sorry."

"Yup, just us the awkward and weird family of superheroes." I laughed.
