Chapter 3: Outing.

Connor is preparing breakfast for Hank, He'll try to get him to wake up since it's the weekend and he usually sleeps in.
Connor was about to go wake up the sleeping lieutenant when he had an incoming call from.. Chloe.

𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙣𝙤𝙧: "Hello?"
𝘾𝙝𝙡𝙤𝙚: "Hey, Connor. How are you?"
𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙣𝙤𝙧: "I'm doing well, How about you?"
𝘾𝙝𝙡𝙤𝙚: "I'm okay.."
𝘾𝙝𝙡𝙤𝙚: "Listen, uhm.. Are you free today?"
𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙣𝙤𝙧: "Yes, I am. I'm off duty from work today."
𝘾𝙝𝙡𝙤𝙚: "Good good.. Uh Would you like to hang out today?"
𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙣𝙤𝙧: "Uh, Sure. When and where?"
𝘾𝙝𝙡𝙤𝙚: "There's this new café that just recently opened into business, they sell android exclusive food."
𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙣𝙤𝙧: "Alright, when shall we meet up?"
𝘾𝙝𝙡𝙤𝙚: "Is 2 pm a good time for you?"
𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙣𝙤𝙧: "Yes, I'll be there."
𝘾𝙝𝙡𝙤𝙚: "A-Alright! I'll see you then!"
𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙣𝙤𝙧: "See you."

Connor: "..Well, I have plans today.."
He goes on to wake up Hank.
A knock or two on the door with no response, he lets himself inside and opens the curtains.
Hank: "Argh.. Connor, What the hell you wakin' me up so damn early for?"
Connor: "Hank.. It's 11:07."
Hank: "That's early as hell."
Connor: "I made you breakfast."
Hank: "... Alright, fine. I'll get up."
Connor: "I also have some news to share with you."
Hank: "Okay, just lemme freshen up.."
Connor: "Of course."
Connor exists the room meanwhile Hank enters the bathroom.
Connor sits himself down while fiddling with his hands, nervous about his hangout with Chloe.
A couple minutes pass by and Hank finally enters the kitchen and sits down to eat his breakfast when he notices that Sumo's food bowl is empty.
Hank: "..Sumo ate all his food already?"
Connor snaps back to reality and quits fiddling with his hands.
Connor: "O-Oh, I'm so sorry, I didn't put his food yet."
Hank: "What?"
Connor gets up, searches for the cans of dog food all while his LED's spinning yellow.
Connor: "I'm so sorry, I don't know where my head is at, I-"
Hank: "Relax, kid. It's ok."
Connor opens the can and serves Sumo his long waited meal.
Then he makes his way back to sitting next to Hank, staring at the counter.
Hank looks over to Connor in a concerned manner.. He's never like this?
Hank: "You alright? You look like a nervous reck."
Connor: "I'm uh.. Well.."
Connor: "At Markus' christmas party, I reconciled with Chloe.. She was there and well, we just kept talking to eachother. She has a new job as a nurse and an apartment.. She called me earlier before you woke up and asked if we could hang out, I said yes because I have nothing on my schedule except walking Sumo."
Hank: "Chloe.. That name sounds familiar.."
Connor: "..You don't remember her?"
Hank: "Remind me."
Connor: "RT600? At Elijah Kamski's house? The one he tried to make me.."
Hank: "Oh.. Yeah.. Now I remember."
Hank: "So you guys are goin' out on a date or somethin' and you're nervous about it?"
Connor: "I-It's not a date! We're just going out.."
Hank: "Tsk.. No need to be nervous, Connor."
Connor: "Why? I could screw up everything.."
Hank: "Calm down, you barely saw eachother once. There's no need to be this nervous because chances are that she's just as nervous as you."
Hank: "So chill.. Don't beat yourself up about it."
Connor: "Thanks, Hank.."
Hank: "Don't mention it."
Connor: "I'll go walk Sumo to get my mind off of things.."
Hank: "You do you."
Connor gets up, grabs Sumo's leach and exits the house for Sumo's daily exercise.
It's also peaceful for Connor, it gives him a chance to take his mind off things, he describes it as being alone in the world, just him and a pet he adores very much.

12:03 pm
Connor reaches back to the residence he shares with Hank.
Connor: "Hank, I'm home."
Hank: "Yeah, I'm aware."
Connor places a drink down on the table and unleashes Sumo, he grabs the smoking hot drink and hands it to Hank.
Connor: "I got you coffee from your favorite place."
Hank: "Thank you, Connor. It's much needed."
Connor: "You're welcome."
