Chapter 6: The Sweetest Thing

A/n: Sorry this part toke so long to be released because of school and I been trying to find the episode, but anyway enjoy.

Sonic's POV

I was just waking up from my nap walking to the kitchen to find it a mess. I also find Shimmer and Shine with Leah.

Sonic: Holy rings! What happened?

Leah: Well do you remember when you along with the other pets made a mess out of the school?

Sonic:*scratches the back of his head in embarrassment* Yeah... Sorry about that.

Shine: I also had a talk to Nahal too about it. 

Leah: Anyway, we were tasked to do something to help raise money to rebuild the destruction. I decided to do a bake sale.

Sonic: May I ask why there's a giant cake here?

Shine: Leah made a wish for a cupcake and... well...  genie mistake.

Leah: Don't worry Shine. Everyone makes mistakes.

Narrator's POV

Shimmer: So how are we going to the cupcakes?

Leah: Well to make a real cupcake, we need to mix a few ingredients together. But I'm all out of eggs, milk and flour because I used them all.

Sonic: Don't worry sis, I got this. Alright girls, I wish for eggs, milk and flour.

Shimmer: Boom Zahramay! Second wish of the day! Shimmer and Shine, eggs, milk and flour Divine!

Shimmer conjured up a chicken, a cow and a basket of flowers.

Sonic: What the?! Actually Shimmer, I was hoping for a carton of eggs, a gallon of milk, and a bag of flour.

Shimmer: Oh, sprinkles. I didn't get that wish right, either! 

Zac: Hey, Leah! are you in there?

Leah: Oh no! Zac's coming! 

Sonic: Don't worry sis, I got this. Gotta go fast!

Sonic ran around the kitchen at his super sonic speed. Sonic put the animals and flowers in the backyard and placed Shimmer and Shine in the cabinets.

Sonic: That is how I roll.

(Timeskip)

Leah, Sonic and the genies tried to milk the cow and get the chickens to lay eggs, it was taking a long time,at last Sonic lost patience.

Sonic: Alright, this is taking way too long! I wish we could finish this faster. 

Shimmer: Boom Zahramay! Third wish of the day!

Leah: Wait! That's the last wish!

Shimmer: Shimmer and Shine, Speed this up Divine!

Suddenly, a rumbling conveyor belt appeared. Buckets were filled with milk, and the chicken started laying eggs. Everyone started working as fast as they could.

Leah: Guys, I don't think I can keep up!

Then there was trouble, there was so much cupcake batter that it flooded the room-carrying Leah, Sonic, the cow, the chicken, and the genies out the door! Just then, Leah saw Zac coming towards her.

Leah: Oh no! Zac's coming! Hide!

Shimmer and Shine ducked into the nearby bushes. But Zac had already noticed the cow and the chickens.

Zac: You used fresh ingredients. No wonder your cake tastes great!

Sonic: Hey Zac, why do you have a cup with you?

Zac showed Leah and Sonic the cupful of cake he was holding. He'd scooped it from the giant cake Shimmer had conjured.

Zac: I couldn't find a plate, so I'm taking this cup of cake home with me. 

Then he walked back to his house.

Leah: A cup! Shimmer! Shine! Sonic! I know what to do now!

Back in the kitchen, Leah took a mug and scooped a cupful of cake. She turned the mug over-and out popped a mini cake!

Shimmer: You made a cupcake from a cup of cake! Great idea!

Sonic: OK, here's the plan: You girls do the cupcakes and I'll go take the cow and chicken back to the barn and clean up the mess.

While Sonic took care of the animals and the mess, Leah and the genies scooped, frosted, and decorated enough cupcakes for the bake sale.

Shimmer: Who knew all our mistakes could make such a sweet little dessert?

Leah: Another mistake turned out great!

Sonic soon came back.

Sonic: Hey guys, I took the animals back home and toke care of the mess. Thanks Shimmer and Shine for all your help.

Shimmer and Shine: No problem. With magical powers of Shimmer and Shine, Boom Zahramay! We'll see you next time!

Shimmer and Shine head back into the genie lamp.
