Chapter 16: Gone Bowlin'

Sonic's POV

Me, Leah, and Zac are pumped for day of bowling! I got bowling in the bag! But Leah is having a tough time trying to knock down a single pin, so she calls on Shimmer and Shine to lend a little genie magic to improve her game.

Last I talked and saw Zac, he went to find his lucky bowling ball.

I don't exactly remember Leah's first wish but her second wish was to have more balls to practice with, Shine wished up some balls from different sports like basketball, baseball, soccer, you name it. But when Tala did a little trick with one of the balls that gave Leah an idea.

Leah: I think Tala's onto something. We could practice using these other balls.

Shine: Then we better get started, cause we got some work to do.

Me and the girls used the balls to practice bowling and Leah started to get better and better at bowling. Soon, it was time for my sister to try a real bowling ball.

Shine: You did it Leah! You knocked down most pins!

Leah: I think all that practice has helped me get better.

Shimmer: Maybe now you can try bowling with a real bowling ball.

Leah: OK.

Sonic: But there's one left.

Leah: I wish there were more balls to choose from.

Shimmer: Boom Zarahmay! Third wish of the day!

Sonic: Oh boy...

Leah: Wait, that's my last wish!

Shimmer: Shimmer and Shine, more bowling balls divine!

Shimmer uses her magic to make the bowling ball machine to bring out more balls.

Leah: Shimmer, what's going on?

Shimmer: I granted your third wish. Now you have lots of bowling balls to choose from.

The bowling ball machine brought out so many balls that it started filling up the room.

Leah: I didn't mean to wish for this many! Actually, I didn't mean to make a wish at all!

Shimmer: Oopise. I guess I got a little carried away.

Shine: I think we all did.

Sonic: We gotta turn that machine off!

But it was too late. the whole bowling ally got filled with around 1000 bowling balls! Then the bowling balls started caring us around.

Leah: It's ok Shimmer. We just need to find a way to turn this mistake around.

Shine: Then let's turn back to where the stakeout is. Those sausages smell so good.

Sonic: Now is not the time Shine.

Tala pushes a button that turns on the glow in the dark lights and the music.

Shine: Did Tala just get a party started with a button?

Shimmer: I didn't even know they made those, but we need to get one.

Sonic: I think this must be the cosmic bowling lights that Zac told me about. He said it was his favorite way to bowl.

Shine: Zac has excellent taste. It's favorite way too.

We passed Zac who was dancing to the beat of the music. Though, I surprised that the lady who works at the counter barely notices all of this. we soon get off the bowling balls, but Nightspeed kept on chasing them like a dog.

Leah: This is a blast! But the bowling balls aren't going to stop coming unless we do something.

Sonic: Sis, I checked the machine and I don't see an off button.

Shine: I know what to do. This bag of balls can stop the bowling balls from coming out.

Sonic: Alright. Let's give it a try.

I place the bag of balls on the machine and it works!

Shimmer: It worked! Nice thinking Shine!

Shine: It's like I always say: Some of the best things in life happen by accident, or when you press a party button.

Shimmer: I never heard you say that.

Shine: That cause I just made it up.

Leah: And now that the ride's over, it's time to find the right ball to bowl with.

Zac: Hey Leah, Sonic!

Sonic: It's Zac! You two know the drill!

Shimmer and Shine hid away while Leah and I headed over to Zac.

Zac: I found incrediball! 

Leah: That's great Zac.

Sonic: How did you find it?

Zac: My trust old nose did. Good thing I keep it on my face wherever I go.

Leah: *Giggles*

Zac: Take a look at what incrediball's all about.

Zac rolls incrediball down to the pins and gets a strike!

Sonic: Not bad!

Zac: Crushed it!

Leah: That was amazing!

Zac: Thanks Leah. Are you ready to play now?

Leah: Well, I've been practicing alot, but I still haven't found the right ball.

Zac: You can play with incrediball.

Leah: Really? Thanks Zac.

Sonic: Remember Sis, make sure to give it your all!

Leah: Got it.

Leah rolls incrediball with all her might and with a little help from the twin genies she managed to get a strike! We cheered for Leah as she managed to master bowling, when Zac left Me and Leah went to Shimmer and Shine.

Leah: Thanks for all your help girls. Because of our mistakes I managed to get the hang of bowling.

Sonic: or find the cosmic bowling lights.

Shimmer: No problem.

Shine: Specking of which, wheres Nightspeed?

As if on que Nightspeed come over with sausages in his mouth and gives them to Shine.

Shine: Ok, I know I said I want those sausages, but I like them with less Dragon drool.

Nightspeed shrugs and just eats the sausages.

Leah: Our mistakes came out great when we work together, can't wait till tomorrow. Our best friends forever!

Shimmer and Shine: With magical powers of Shimmer and Shine, Boom Zarahmay! We'll see you next time!

Shimmer and Shine along with Nahal and Tala go inside the magic bottle and disappeared.
