Chapter 11: Lights! Camera! Genies!

Narrator's POV

Tonight's the night Leah, Zac, and Sonic are going to have movie night. Leah was getting the movie ready, while Sonic was making the popcorn.

Leah: OK, the dragon princess movie is ready to play, the popcorn's popping, and the chairs are all blown up. *Jumps on one of the rubber chairs* A little squeaky, but comfy, all that's missing for movie night is...

Then Leah hears knocking on her door.

Leah: Zac!

Leah struggles to get out of the rubber chair.

Leah: Hang on Zac, I'm coming.

Sonic: Why don't you let me get him?

Sonic hurries over to the door and opens it while Leah got herself off the rubber chair and follows behind.

Sonic: What's up Zac?

Zac: Hey Sonic and Leah, I was thinking since we've seen the dragon prince 135 glorious times, we could mix it up a little bit with 3D glasses. These will look the dragon's flying right at you, but don't worry he's not really flying at you and I brought someone who's never seen the movie before: Rocket! 

Sonic: You brought your dog?

Zac: Yep, you can tell he's excited because he's drooling more than usual.

Sonic: Aw man, mom just cleaned the floor.

Leah: Hi Rocket. Did you get a new toy?

Zac: I had to get him a new one so he stop chewing on my stuff. Like this one time: I'd tried to stop him from eating my sneaker, but the only way to do that was to give up my other sneaker. It worked out those cause the holes he made really kept my feet cool.

Rocket kept chewing on the rubber chicken until he broke it.

Leah: Looks like he needs something else to chew on.

Rocket then hurried over to the living room and started chew on one of the rubber chairs.

Sonic: Not the chair!

Sonic runs over and tries to get the rubber chair away from rocket. Then there was trouble, Rocket pops the rubber chair and it races around the living room like a bullet. It hits the lamp and then finally it hits the TV. Leah tries to turn the TV on but it doesn't work.

Leah: I can't get the movie to play, I think the TV's broken.

Sonic: Plus TVs are expensive to fix.

Zac: Sorry guys, I've should have brought a back sneaker for rocket to chew on. But you know, even though the TV and chair are broken we still have popcorn.

Leah: Your right.

Suddenly Leah, Zac and Sonic smelt something strange.

Leah: Do you smell something funny?

Zac: No, but I smell something burning.

Leah: Wait Sonic, weren't you in charge of the popcorn?

Sonic: Oh no! The popcorn! I may have burnt it!

The three hurry over to the kitchen, to find the popcorn all black.

Zac: Maybe it's like marshmallows, the more toasted the better they taste.

Zac tastes the burnt popcorn to find out it wasn't like marshmallows.

Zac: Nope, no, no, no, I was wrong.

Leah: Boy, movie night is turning out to be a big mistake.

Zac: It's ok Leah, we can fix this. I'll start with patching the hole in the chair. As soon as I can get it way from Rocket.
