Narrator's POV
Leah was setting up a dollhouse tea party one morning while Sonic and Nightspeed watched from a distance, when they heard the doorbell ring. It was their neighbor Zac! Nightspeed hid behind the couch as Zac came into the living room.
Zac: Hi Sonic! Hey Leah! I brought Artie Apatosaurus.
Leah: Great! We're having a tea party. Wanna join us Sonic?
Sonic: Nah. I just watch.
Zac reached into the dollhouse and tried to set Artie the dino down, but it's big tail knocked over the tiny table! Zac apologized and headed home to find a smaller toy. When Zac left, Nightspeed came out from behind the couch and headed over to Sonic and Leah.
Leah: Now who am I going to play with?
Sonic: Why not Shimmer and Shine? I'm sure they could play with you.
Leah: Great idea little brother!
Leah rubs her genie bottle and and Shimmer and Shine appeared in a shower of sparkles with their pets, Nahal and Tala. Leah explained what was going on.
Shimmer: I love playing with new things!
Tala grabs Leah's doll and starts to cuddle with it.
Shimmer: And so does Tala.
Shine: So how do we play?
Leah: Well, we all get our doll friends together inside the dollhouse.
Shine: Oh, We didn't bring any dolls.
Shimmer: But we did bring wishes.
Leah: Perfect! For my first wish, I wish my doll had more friends to play with!
Shimmer: Boom Zahramay! First wish of the day! Shimmer and Shine, more doll friends divine!
In a puff of magic, Shimmer and Shine had both shrank to the size of a doll.
Sonic: What the...
Leah: What happened? Why are you so little?
Shimmer: I granted your wish Leah. What better friend for a doll to play with than genies.See? Your doll friend and I are already getting along well.
Sonic: But Leah meant to wish for more dolls. Not turn our genies into doll sized friends.
Shimmer: *Laughs nervously* Oppie, looks like I made a tieeny tinny mistake.
Leah: It's ok Shimmer, you tried your best. We can fix this.
Sonic: I'm gonna admit you two are really cute when you two are that small.
Shine: And it's cute to having three giant friends.
Suddenly everyone hears knocking on the door.
Zac: Hey Leah!
Sonic: It's Zac! You guys know the drill!
Nightspeed hid behind the couch while Nahal and Tala hid under it. Shimmer and Shine stood very still like dolls. Zac returned with a space-alien toy named Glork. He put Glork in the dollhouse, and blue goo oozed out of the alien covered the genies!
Zac: I'll look for a toy that's not so messy.
When Zac left, Nightspeed, Nahal, and Tala came out from the couch, while Shine wiped the blue goo off her hands.
Shine: Leah, do you have any clothes in doll size we could barrow?
Leah: Check the closet.
Shine went over to the closet and opened it.
