We see the Thompson family and the mermaids outside of a hair salon in a mall.
Sonic: Girls, you don't have to do this.
Finly: Oh, we're gonna do it.
Searra: Yeah, we've been hiding out in the cove WAY too long.
Mari: I'm ready to wash off this algae out of my hair. But. Right. Through. This. Ridiculous. Hair. Sealon.
Oceanna: Ms Thompson, is this place even safe?
Jane: Don't worry, this salon is a perfectly safe revitalization with a squirt of minty freshness to brighten your day.
Searra: Well water we waiting for? Lets go!
Shimmer: I'm overdo for a haircut myself, I'll go with you!
Sonic: I'm good.
Nate: Me too.
John: Relax, at least we'll catch them on the other side.
So, the girls went into the hair salon while the boys waited outside. When the girls came out, Finly, Searra, Mari, and Oceanna were all cleaned up and had their hair cleaned. Finly has a boho fashion style; she wears blue puff sleeves, a pink-to-yellow-to-blue-graident tank top, colorful jean shorts, a orange crown & bright orange high heels. Searra has a glam fashion style; she wears two bracelets on each arm, with a sparkly gold top, and pink ruffle skirt. She has gold hoop earrings, and wears two hairclips. She has hot pink strappy pearl high heels, with mesh stockings for socks. Next, Mari has a rocker fashion style; she wears a blue fishnet top, knee high socks and purple wedges, a black pleated skirt with details, and a tentacle crown. Lastly, Oceanna has athletic fashion style; she wears a colorful long-sleeved crop top and colorful sport skirt, and colorful sneakers.

Later we see the family and their friends continue with their trip, passing a corn field and a pumpkin field.
Leah: It sure is quiet today.
Sonic: Yeah, I thought this trip was going to be exciting. But there's just nothing out here.
