As per usual I was scoffing my food down. Running the Maze wasn't easy you know. After a while I noticed the shebean staring at me like I was an animal in a cage. She laughed. I've never heard anyone laugh like that in my whole 3 years in the Glade. It was perfection, beautiful and pure. I couldn't help but smile back at her. I loved the way when she laughed she would tilt her head back and when she would pull it forward her hair would fall over her face. She was beautiful.
I glanced over to Newt and I've never seen this shank smile like that, ever. The first and only girl in the glade and she had everyone falling for her. I dont blame them. Have you seen her?
Gally came over and punched her in the arm. She looked shocked at the action. "Shuck, sorry I didn't mean to hit you that hard!" Gally blurted out. She went straight in and pushed him off the bench, which caused her to let out the most unladylike cackles and wheezed at the muscly boy who layed on the ground in shock.
A few hours had past, the bonfire had started. I was sat with the other runners when I saw Y/N and Newt emerge from the forest. I jumped. She had fell over a rock. Newt has fallen next to her in laughter, being careful of his bad leg which had been acting up all day.
"Hey Min Min" I heard a soft voice come from behind me. I didn't realise but the time it took me to go and get some of Gally's recipes Y/N had come up behind me. "Min Min... that's a first." I laughed as she looked at the drink. "What's that?" she asked politely as she always did. "Here, it'll put some hair on your chest." Newt said, putting some in a cup and handing it to her.
She took one sip and spat it all over causing me and Newt to jump back. "How can you guys drink that?!" she coughed, laughing at how vile the drink was. Honestly me and Newt just grew to live with the taste. "We just do princess."
"Princess... thats a first." She mocked me. I could tell that me and her were gonna get on amazingly.
I was excited to see what job she would chose. maybe I would have a partner... or I would have someone to look forward to come back "home" to and prank the rest of the boys.
