Adra stood in the farmhouse looking out the window toward the barn, Clint offered her a safe house to stay at since he lived alone and Natasha asked him to look after Adra while the others were trying to fix the compound. Adra wouldn't admit it but she was fond of Clint, he made her feel normal since he was simply a man with no power or some kind of hidden agenda. Pulling a disposable vape to her lips she tried to keep her nicotine habit hidden. She liked how it fogged her mind and gave her some kind of buzz. "I thought you quit." Clint said walking behind her, jumping she watched him go to the sink and wash his hands he had grease on them from trying to repair an old bike in the garage. "I need to get you a bell." She mused. "I did but old habits die hard. Any word from Nat? Is everything still in the rubble?" Adra asked.

"Yeah, your stay may be a while. Remind me to go shopping for groceries the way you eat it'll be hard to keep anything in the fridge." Clint was joking, but Adra gave a dramatic gasp. "I'm offended, I can't help my metabolism speeds up. I would find a way to harness energy but some methods have been banned by Fury and Steve." Adra frowned. "What was banned?" Clint asked drying his hands. "I used to take energy from touching others but it had nasty side effects." Adra explained.  "Oh yeah. You made Nat drunk, Bruce was angered, and Steve didn't want to talk about it, what happened to Tony?" Clint asked. "He was all over the place, it was like he drank five-hour energy drinks back to back he stayed in his lab inventing new suits." Adra returned. "Hmm." Clint hummed in thought.

"Don't hmm me, you usually get ideas and I can tell you now I'm not touching you." Adra warned. "Alright then." Clint gave a thin-lipped smile, confused by this Adra didn't know if he was dropping it or using reverse psychology. Either way, she'd watch him knowing he was pretty persistent once he had his mind made up. It was a damn shame she didn't have her gloves they were lost when the compound was destroyed. "Got any gloves?" She asked him. "You don't need them." Clint walked away but answered as he walked to his room to wash up before dinner.

Adra rolled her eyes taking a drag from her disposable, she sighed out going to the living room, sitting on the couch she turned on the TV. Clint carried on his regular routines despite her staying for a bit, she was either in the guest room on the opposite end of the house, or reading a book on the porch, the sounds of nature helped her keep her mind focused and calm. After a good twenty minutes, she heard him come out of the room then looked back. Out walked Clint in a towel wrapped around his waist, she didn't realize how much he hid with his suit batting her eyes she browsed him walking by it seemed he didn't notice her sitting there.

He made a straight line across the house to the laundry room, he rummaged through the clean clothes from the basket since he forgot the bring them back to his room. Her eyes widened as he searched holding the towel with one hand at his waist and using the other to search for some boxers and sleep pants. She quickly averted her eyes toward the screen feeling a little like a creep for staring. Some crime documentary was on; she hoped he wouldn't ask because she hasn't been paying attention. Clint gathered what he needed then turned finally noticing her on the couch did he manage to slip by unnoticed? Or was she being modest and quiet because she noticed him he was a little amused since it was his house in the middle of nowhere.

Adra started to twist the ends of her hair while she tried to take a moment and catch up on the tv. Her mind began to drift a certain song began to play within her mind, possibly at the wrong time she always had a little bit of an infatuation for Clint but Natasha made him sound very unavailable and uninterested in the dating scene since his love life collided with his work. Lowering her chin she heard the song louder in her mind as if her earbuds were in her ears usually when she needed to fight or deal with large gatherings for publicity she shook her head feeling a little overwhelmed. Clint closed the door getting dressed within the laundry room once he was done he stepped out to move into the kitchen.
