Bucky and Clint got back to the farmhouse, originally Clint had it built to have a place for himself where his job couldn't affect him. The two stayed in bed and spent the morning wrapped up in each other's arms. Bucky had his metal arm wrapped around Clint who rest at his side and against his chest. Clint always slept with his earpiece out, Bucky heard Lucky whining and tapped Clint on his back. The blonde looked up to his companion's face reading his lips. "Lucky?" Clint shouted unaware of his tone, he sat up and finally saw his furry pal in the doorway, Clint stood up and stretched out reaching for his hearing aid, quickly he placed it in his ear and he turned it on receiving feedback until it settled. "What's for breakfast?" Clint asked Bucky. "Make it yourself." Bucky sounded serious but he was the cook for them, it was either he cook or have Clint burn the house down.

Clint tossed on a pair of sleep pants then walked out to let Lucky go outside with him. Bucky pulled his arm over his face with a groan, he needed coffee. Getting up and deciding it was time to start the day he stayed in his boxers while he shuffled across the kitchen getting things ready for breakfast and coffee. Clint could tell fall was coming the leaves were piling up in the yard and the air felt cold. Looking out over the ranch he wondered what happened with Sera, meeting her happened about five months ago, she probably was on break now but he didn't mention her around Bucky. Clint saw Bucky look at his mark some days which told Clint he also thought about her.

Sera closed her apartment door and locked up, she was invited away for break with a friend and his girlfriend. They planned a trip to New York and wanted to climb the Lady Liberty statue. Sera honestly didn't know what she would do, maybe she could find a Broadway show or go shopping for new clothes. NYC was supposed to be huge and Avenger sightings happened, once she heard this she secretly wished she could see the two men she acknowledged existed but part of her felt they were a hallucination. Her friends insisted they drive to make it a fun road trip but she couldn't imagine the long drive being cramped up in a backseat. Taking it upon herself she decided to rent a private jet and help make the trip easier, she may have done it with an ulterior motive but her friends were grateful either way.

The flight in total took about four hours, the trio spent their time laughing and drinking champagne, they watched a movie on the big screen along the wall of the cabin they were in. Looking down out the windows they saw NYC at its busiest, everything certainly seemed big and impressive. Her friends were more excited than her but they had reason to be. Taking their luggage off the jet and working out plans Sera decided to go alone in the big apple letting them enjoy their break. College didn't start again until three months, finding anything to do that long would be a miracle. Thinking on a hotel Sera didn't exactly think this far. She walked through the airport and browsed tourist spots on some pamphlets at an information desk.

Sera booked a hotel room for one week, she could go home with her friends after the week or maybe stay if she liked NYC enough. Calling a cab she stood outside waiting, once the vehicle pulled in she crawled in with her luggage. "St. Regis please." She gave her destination to the driver. Sera enjoyed the sights of everything so far, she felt excitement at a change of scenery and new surroundings. It took her a few hours to get to her destination and check in but she finally stepped in her room for the week. Her view was breathtaking, this building had history and she loved thinking about past events which might have happened here even in the very room she stood.

Clint worked out in the barn on an old tractor that quit cranking, he decided to check the fuel line discovering it was old and needed to be replaced. Cursing out he heard the barn door open, Bucky and Lucky stepped in to give Clint attention and lunch. "Bigger problem?" Bucky asked. Clint wiped his hands on a rag and chuckled. "That's putting it lightly. I think it might be cheaper to buy a new one." Clint was exaggerating but he was also serious. Bucky picked up a stuffed jalapeño and fed it to Clint, the dirty blonde haired man ate the pepper enjoying the taste. "New recipe?" Clint spoke with his mouth full. "Added garlic." Bucky corrected and picked up another one, Clint opened his mouth and ate it with joy.
