Walking out of the bathroom, Yoongi's thoughts were all over the place. Taking advantage of the silent corridor as classes were still going on.

Yoongi had already heard about the prom being moved earlier this year. And he actually never went to any of them. Crowded places aren't actually his type to go to. Yet right now, he thought of it in another way he never thought about before.

He might as well go there this year. And his heart was thumping like a goddamn hammer smashing into nails that just won't burry unto the wood.

He never thought of it and never did he thought that he would be thinking of it this way.

He wanted to ask Hoseok to be his partner. I mean, both of them had never been to one of the proms, and this year would be their last. Might as well take him with him right?

But the thought of Hoseok declining and just wanting to stay home like he always had, lingered in his thoughts. 'Cause if he would be asked, he might as well decline too.

The comfort of his room would be more appropriate than dancing with a lot of students he himself does not know.

Yet maybe Hoseok would say yes right? There might ba a tiny bit of possibility Hoseok might accept and they'd go to the prom together for the first time. It'll be a great night.

'Wait what? No! I'm taking Hoseok there because he never went to the prom.'

Yoongi shook his head and went on walking back to his room when a sudden voice called out to him.

Sighing and looking up to the said person, he found one of the most irritating person he ever met in his life. Chan.

"Isn't this our favorite classmate's new bestfriend?" Chan mocked as he went closer to Yoongi.

"Min Yoongi. The captain of the basketball team. The known 'unbothered king' " Chan chuckled looking straight at Yoongi as the boy looked up to him for he was a few inches taller.

"Aren't you popular enought to hang out with some senseless kid? What's the catch with all of these Yoongi?"

Yoongi just stared back at him. Eyes holding nothing but boredom. This was his mask, and it was a mask he would never throw away.

"What's with you and Hoseok? Are you dating him, hmm, Yoongi?" Chan looked terrifying. Eyes almost making a hole on the poor mint haired man.

But Yoongi did not see him as terrifying as he looked. He saw him as someone so eager to bully someone not even classified to be bullied.

"What's with all the touching you both do? You're dating him aren't you?" Chan said, holding a tone like he finally won a battle.

Yoongi chuckled, looking up to Chan with an unamused look.

"Why? Are you jealous?" Yoongi mocked at him. Throwing Chan's own question back to him. Seing Chan's once proud looking eyes decipher into shock ones.

"What? Hell no" Yoongi chuckled. Eyes shining with pure amusement.

"Then why are you so eager to know? Are you scared your little friend would turn out to like me?" Yoongi smirked at him. Seing him not muttering any words.

"Do you like him?" Emphasizing the word YOU, Yoongi's eyes seem to have been tinted with an emotion both men cannot recognize.

Chan took a deep breath and stepped back. Eyeing a certain brunette walking with his eyes glued to the floor.

"You're changing the topic Min. Are you gonna ask him to be your date this prom? Aww" He mocked as he stared at Yoongi for a second before going back to look at a certain brunette. He looked so amused Yoongi clutched his fists and scoffed.

"He's just some senseless kid I'm forced to hang out with! Now can you move?!" Yoongi almost shouted. His mind filled with just making it back to his class before his teacher can sense his taking so long to be at the bathroom. And also to escape the question he himself still haven't figured the answer to.

But as Chan's smirk grew bigger, eyes not looking at him. Yoongi furrowed his brows. About to shove him out of his way when Chan smiled.

"Heard that Hoseokie?" Yoongi froze. Hearing Hoseok's name and knowing Hoseok heard him. Heard him utter out those awful words.

"Yeah, I heard that Chan"

His voice sounded like it wasn't him. Yoongi himself cannot recognize his voice. Can't find the usual tone Hoseok's voice always hold.

His tone was so bland. Almost as if it was a monotone, and Yoongi wanted to look at him. Say sorry for the words he had heard.

But he can't. He can't seem to turn around and face Hoseok. He was forzen at his place, when all of a sudden Chan turned him around and wrapped his arms around his shoulders. Making Yoongi look at the brunette.

Hoseok was just standing there. His eyes holding nothing. His once joyful  demeanor faded. Yoongi did not see Hoseok. That person standing infront of him wasn't him. And he wanted to choke himself for causing such thing.

For causing Hoseok to hide on one of his masks again. Causing Hoseok to be at the same situation four years ago.

"Isn't this dejavu? Don't you think Hoseok?" Yoongi wanted to kick Chan right at that moment. But seing Hoseok as calm as he is made him just stare at him.

Yoongi's facial expressions were unreadable. And so was Hoseok's. Both men just staring at each other as if they were throwing questions towards one another as Chan said things they can't even hear now.

Hoseok wanted to cry, to lash out, to break down. But suprisingly, he can't. Suprisingly, his mask had been a tougher one. And he was glad it was.

Yoongi finally took Chan's arms away from his shoulders.

"Can I leave now that you're having fun?" Yoongi said. Giving Chan his most emotionless face.

Yoongi walked out. With his feet dragging him back to his room and just taking his bag and immediately leaving.

He needed to talk to Hoseok, ofcourse they needed to talk, but he needed to calm down first. And also let Hoseok calm down. He needed to gather his thoughts and finally settle with his emotions.

So he went to a place he knew he can let go. To the place, now mostly filled with Hoseok's and his time together there.

He just hopes everything would still be fine.

Ok but hear me out. I recently just thought about this happening and I know I haven't worded it out the best that I can. But I do hope it was understandable and not too fast.
