Alice was about 5 seconds away from having a nap at lunch time. She had never truly appreciated how hard it was to do lessons without always being supplied with the answers. 'Being ordinary must suck.'
Just as she was about to fall asleep on her lunch, the ever-dramatic Sirius Black came storming in. "THE FLOOR IS LAVA!"
In a moment, James and Peter were both stood on the benches and James was laughing at the others who were still touching the floor. Alice lazily lifted her legs so they were laying across a tired looking Remus who was quietly muttering under his breath about regretting ever telling Sirius about the muggle game.
A few muggleborn and halfblood students seemed to instantly take part in the game, jumping onto benches or just raising their feet. Most purebloods just looked utterly disturbed at the screams of terror and laughter that erupted around them, although their expressions mixed with shock, disgust, and confusion.
Sirius hopped onto a bench, sidestepping around the other students as he approached the group. He slid down into his seat as everyone started calming down. Resting his head in his hands, he gazed off dreamily into the distance. "Merlin, I'm so glad I know about that game."
Remus just sighed, trying his best to ignore both Sirius and his desperate desire to hit someone. In the face. Very hard. Probably with a chair. Multiple times.
But Alice didn't need to try to ignore them as in came her favourite Slytherin and she just so happened to take a seat facing her. This of course meant it was time for a war of some sort.
It started of simple with a wink from Bellatrix for 1 point, soon beaten by a lip bite and chin stroke from Alice for 3 points. This was then combated by Bellatrix fake biting at the air for 2 points. The play was then returned by Alice with a hand through the hair, eyebrows up as eyes squinting, paired with the lip bite for the classic and a further 4 points. But Bellatrix was here to win and she scored a quick 5 points with the eyes rolling back in her head and running her tongue across her teeth. Alice was panicked by the play, unsure how to respond. She recognised she was running out of time so went for a hair flick and wink for only 3 points. The next play from Bellatrix was licking her lips and looking the girl up and down for a safe 3 points.
Alice went to respond but was interrupted by the disturbed looks of the 4 boys and a sandwich being tossed at her head by Sirius. She scowled at the boy, not only because she now had food in her already unmanageable long hair, but because it also meant Bellatrix won 11-10.
Alice tore her eyes away from the angry boy to see Bellatrix smiling smugly at her. She sent her a wink after to mock her defeat to which Alice could only glare.
"You're going to need to stop now. Seeing you flirt with my cousin is just weird." Sirius said, angrily.
"Is this just because you weren't invited to the wedding? Get over it." Alice responded, starting to pick out bits of food from her hair.
"Well, yes." Sirius pouted for a second before getting back on topic. "But also that it's weird."
"Would you rather it was your brother?" She asked nonchalantly, not removing her attention from her hair.
Remus straightened up, paying more attention to the conversation while James choked on his pumpkin juice. "W-what?" Sirius spluttered.
