By the time the train pulled up into the station, Peter had still not woken up and the idea of either waking him or moving him was one none of the other Marauders wanted to try. Why? Because they feared being drooled on and they were too lazy.

Each of the awake members grabbed their bags before stepping out of the compartment. After a few intense rounds of rock-paper-scissors, Sirius was left with the job of sending a stinging hex at the boy while the rest of them ran away.

Out on the platform, the trio faced the train, waiting for Sirius to appear. Seconds later and they heard crashing and shouting before an out of breath, but grinning madly, Sirius appeared, followed shortly by a tired and disgruntled looking Peter.

"Sounds like that went well." James quipped, holding back a laugh.

"Shove off." Peter groaned, running a hand through his sleep-messed hair.

"Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed." Remus' grin widened at the sharp glare he received from Peter.

"At this rate, you're all lucky I'm even visiting you over the holidays." He retorted, holding back from sticking his tongue out at the group.

"Oh we should be so lucky." Sirius swooned, falling back into the safe arms of James who made sure to catch him.

Remus frowned at him in the sarcastic way that only he knew how to do. "But if we're all so horrible, why visit at all?"

"It's only because Alice hasn't said anything mean yet."

"Oh it's not that, I'm just trying to come up with a sleep related pun." She mused, her thoughts wizzing by as she multiple ideas but simply not enough energy to be bothered to communicate any of them.

Nevertheless, laughter went up from Sirius, James, and Remus, while Peter rolled his eyes at the terrible decisions he had made when making friends.

"I see my dad so I'll see you lot later." He cut in, picking up his bags.

Alice instantly pounced on him, wrapping him a tight hug. "See you later Peter." Releasing him, she discreetly handed him a lollipop, making sure none of the other boys could see. She bounced back to where the their boys were stood with their luggage, winking at Peter over her shoulder.

Giving the group a large grin, Peter waved them off before racing to his father to give him a huge hug. The man greeted him with an equally big smile and the pair talked happily as they left the station.

"My parents are that way so I'll see you 3 later." Remus smiled, giving a small wave before he too left.

"Alright then, where are my favourite parents?" Sirius asked, his face lighting up at the thought of seeing the pair again.

"They're over there but I'm giving Alice a second to think of a pun before we go over." James responded, gesturing with his head over his parents who had yet to spot the trio.

The boys turned to Alice who was gazing off into the distance with her thinking face on. They both stared at her unblinkingly until she finally turned to them with a proud grin covering her face. "This one goes out to Anthony: good thing he wasn't a dinosaur or else he would have dino-snored. Or he would have been a stega-snore-us. He seemed really egg-zoasted-"
