Tom: 5 more minutes. While we wait, let's get to the chocolate cake. I need the ingredients for the chocolate cake pops. So I'm gonna need butter, cocoa powder, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract. We got the vanilla extract, milk, and butter. We just need the cocoa powder and powdered sugar.
Mylene: I'll get it. *She goes to the pantry, gets the cocoa powder, and powdered sugar, and places them on the table. * Here we go.
Tom: Good. *Soon, the timer went ringing. * Vanilla cake is done. *He goes to the oven, gets the round cake pan out, and places it on the table. * While the cake gets cool, let's get started on the chocolate cake. First, we need 1/2 a cup of melted butter. So we gotta melt a stick of butter in a microwave. *Mylene gets the stick of butter and places it in a plastic bowl, puts it in the microwave, and heats it for 30 seconds. * Thank you, Mylene. Next, measure out 2/3 of the cocoa powder. *Juleka get the cocoa powder measure out 2/3 and pour it into a clean mixing bowl. The microwave went beeping, Tom got the bowl out, got a measuring cup, measured out 1/2 a cup, and poured it into the bowl. * Next 3 cups of powdered sugar. *Timmy gets the powdered sugar measures out 3 cups and pours it into a bowl. * Next, 1/3 cup of milk. *Juleka gets the measuring cup and pours 3 cups of milk and pour it in the bowl. * And finally, one teaspoon of vanilla extract. *Mylene gets 1 teaspoon and the vanilla extract, she measures it out and puts it in the bowl. * Okay, that's all the ingredients for the cake. Just gotta mix them in and put them in the oven. *He turns on the mixer and mixes in the batter until it's ready for the oven. He turned it off. * Okay, the batter is mixed in, time to put it in the oven. *He gets another round cake pan, gets the spray pan, and spills it so the cake doesn't stick to the pan once it's baking, he starts pouring the batter in the pan, puts it in the oven, and closes the door too. * Timmy, set the timer to 15 minutes.
