Going to the house

A month has passed for Marinette and Adrien, and they're doing their normal jobs, Adrien is a model and Marinette helps out in her parents' bakery. In the bakery, Marinette and her dad, Tom make some cookies.

Tom: How are you and Adrien?

Marinette: We're doing good. We moved into our new house.

Tom: That's good. We'll stop by when we close up shop to come see your new house.

Marinette: Okay. We just don't know what will happen next.

Sabine: Of course, there is the next step in marriage: having kids of your own. That's what your father and I did after we were married.

Marin: Then you had me first.

Sabine: Yes Marin. You were first. Are those muffins done yet?

Marin: I had Timmy deal with it.

Timmy: Deal with what?

Tom: (annoyed) If my muffins are burnt, you both stay late for closing. *He goes in the back and gets them. *

Marin: I do not wanna stay late for closing.

Sabine: Then learn how to do the job right so you won't be doing it. *She put some fresh cookies on the stand. *

Marinette: Here you go. Enjoy the lemon squares.

Debbie (a customer): Thank you, I will. *Marinette takes the money and puts it in the register. *Soon, Marin's phone buzzed, and he looked at it. It's a message from his girlfriend, Sarah. *

Marin: It's Sarah. I forgot we have a date tonight.

Sabine: Already? Well okay. Have fun, and don't forget to clock out.

Marin: Okay, mom. *He kissed her on the cheek, gave Timmy a fist bump, hugged Marinette, and hugged Tom too. *

Marinette: Wait. Will you come to see the new house?

Marin: Yeah. Not too late. *He left the bakery. *

Timmy: What new house?

Sabine: Your sister and Adrien got a new house and we would go there.

Marinette: You're gonna like it.

Timmy: Cool. 'Why couldn't she be with Luka? I like him.'

Sabine: What time should we come over?

Marinette: 7 is okay.

Timmy: Okay.

Sabine: Timmy, why don't you do your homework and come back downstairs?

Timmy: Okay. *He leaves the bakery and Marinette, Tom, and Sabine keep working in the bakery. *

Meanwhile, after a day, Marinette mopped the floor and dusted the house.

Marinette: Adrien, you ready?

Adrien: For what?

Marinette: For my family to come over. They wanna see the new house, we already talked about it.

Adrien: Oh. I forgot. *He helped out. Then, the doorbell rang. * I'll get it. *He goes to the door and opens it. * Hey.

Tom: Hello, Adrien.

Sabine: Hi, Adrien.

Marin: Hey, Adrien. Do you remember Sarah?

Adrien: No, hi.

Sarah: Hi.

Adrien: Hi, Timmy.

Timmy: Don't talk. *He walked in and Adrien looked confused. *

Adrien: I guess he still doesn't like me.

Plagg: I think so too. *Adrien closes the door and locks it. *

Sabine: This is so nice.

Adrien: It's nothing too big.

Marin: I saw one of these houses before. Think it was on TV or in a housing ad.

Sarah: Think it was on TV.

Marin: Oh. Okay.

Marinette: This is just one of those... not too fancy houses.

Adrien: We could go live in my old mansion.

Marinette: No. This is alright. For now, at least. *So they gave them the tour around the house and at the end, they left. * I think it went well.

Adrien: No it didn't.

Marinette: Why?

Adrien: I guess Timmy still hates me.

Marinette: He's gonna get used to you here. It can't be that long.

Adrien: I hope not. 'I love Marinette, I just don't her little brother to hate me forever.'

Marinette: Come on, help me prep dinner.

Adrien: Okay. *They go to the kitchen together and cook some lasagna. *
