"This is what happens when you put your trust in humans." Mika appeared in front of me and blocked the sword, "Out of the way. Vampire!" Guren slashes his sword and the two jumps back, Mika pushes me away when he fends off Guren, "Why's Mika fighting Guren?!" Yuu asks, I was frozen, "W-Who is that..." I trembled, Guren kicked Mika and he flew into me, "Drink the blood of a human, a demon and a progenitor," Guren's sword glowed, "Hey Ren, what's wrong with you! Why are you fighting us! What is all this! Where's my big brother!" I scream, "The Seraph of the End," He ran past us and started killing vampires and humans alike, the spikes started draining blood from all our comrades and the fallen vampires, the shipping container then burst open, Mika held onto me and shielded me from the blast with his body, a light gleamed from the box, "That light, what is it?" Yoichi stares at it, everyone was silent and staring at it, "It's an angel..." Yuu muttered, its wings opened and we saw a little girl in the middle, "MIRAI!" Kimizuki yells, we all look at him shocked, "You humans are blasphemous, you've brought this onto yourselves." Her voice echoed as she held her hand out a horn appeared in front of her mouth and she gently blew into it however it resonated, loud as can be, spikes started appearing from the ground and it cracked, wires came out from the ground and latched onto her, "No, you monsters. That's my sister! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO HER!" Kimizuki runs in, "Enough kid, time to stand down." Guren forces his blade into Kimizuki's torso, we all gasp, when he slides his blade out Kimizuki falls to the ground, "Have you gone insane?!" I run towards Guren and the two of us have a duel, Mika appeared behind him and tried to slash him but Guren spun around and blocked his attack, kicking him, "Now Kiki! ATTACK!" He yells, I spun my scythe around my waist and cut Guren, he smirks, "Don't tell me you've gotten soft on me." He looks down at me, not a single scratch on his body, I dropped my scythe, "This isn't right, Ren, this isn't you! Did they brainwash you! You trained us, you taught us never to turn out backs on our comrades, to never turn your back on family! REN! I love you! I'm never going to hurt you! Ever! WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY BIG BROTHER!" I scream and latch onto his neck, not letting go, "Wipe that stupid smirk off your stupid face! You know who we are! You know who I am! Please Nii-san! I want my big brother back!" I bring my head back and I saw tears in his eyes, I wipe his tears off his cheek as one fell down, "I-I lov..." He brings his sword back and he stabs my stomach, I hold his face and I fall onto the ground, "Kiki! No!" Mika holds my body, Guren screams and thrashes his body around, grabbing his hair and yelling, Mirai's body formed into what looked like a demon, it exploded out with more monsters, raining down and killing everything in its path.

We all started to back away to the outskirts, Mika held me tight in his arms, "Move!" He swiped his sword through one of the monsters and it vapourised away, "Don't worry, you're safe with me," He caresses my cheek, "Where is he?" I breathe out, "Kiki, we need to get somewhere out of the battlefield where they can't get to us." Mika shuffles me in his arms, "No, I need to get back to Guren, he was crying earlier, he's still in there." I pant, "Are you kidding me forget about Guren." Mika says, "Shinoa? Yuu? Where is everyone else?" I look around, "I think they're staying back to fight," Mika doesn't look back, "We need to go back to help fight, Mika. Please." I look up at him, there was a screech from a monster right in front of us, Mika killed it with a single slash but he fell to his knees, "Mika!" I look at his body, his cuts weren't healing, "Drink some of my blood, you need to heal." I look at his torso, "No, it's no use, there's something about this demon that affects my healing," He breathes out, "Is there anything I can do?" I look around frantically, "Save yourself, look at that thing, there's no way we can take it down." He looks at the Seraph, I felt his blood seeping into my clothes, "Your family is in danger, go save them." He looks at my squad, I hold him tighter, "Shut up. I can't leave you here to die, not now. I just got you back Mika. I won't lose you again! You promised me, we'd live together, get married! Start a family! Grow together!" Tears pooled, "Just go you dummy, hurry, or you'll lose your whole family again." He pushes me up, "I just need to kill that big monster right? That way I can save everyone, including you." I look up at the Seraph, "You've always got the worst ideas, use your head, that thing's so big no one can kill it." Mika pants, "Maybe not but I can try, right?" I lean down and kiss his lips, he gently sucks on my bottom lip, I felt the blood ooze out and into his mouth, "I'll be back, right before you know it, just hold on, for me." I stroke his hair, he holds my hand and kisses my palm, I smile and stand up, turning around and walking to my scythe, "Help me Moro." I stab myself with the blade. 

"You really want to kill that thing don't you?" Moro slowly walks over to me, "I'm afraid my power won't be enough," He caresses my cheek, "I know." I look up at him, "So you're really here to betray me, you've come back for the golden trumpet, I told you it was bad news my love." He looks behind him, "It's the only way." I walk out of his grasp and towards it, "If you use that thing you'll lose your humanity, you'll become something else, your family might not recognise you anymore." He says and follows me, "I don't care, anything to keep my Mika safe." I hold the horn, "Thank you Moro." I rest my forehead against his and I blow the horn.

I scream in pain, a tower of flame swirls around me, I felt my blood ooze out of my body, forming wolf ears on my head and a flicking tail behind me, blood red, three triangles seeped into my skin and formed markings on my cheeks and forehead down to the bridge of my nose, the other Seraph charged its attack at me but there was a howl and Moro bit down on it, immediately dissolving its attack, I drag my arm across, "I'll judge every human that's broken our taboos and turn them into pillars of ice." A glacier swept across the battlefield and instantly froze and crumbled the charging monsters coming my way, "What the?!" "Get out of the way!" "We don't have time!" All the soldiers try to retreat, "FIRE!" Kureto yells and the Seraph charges another attack, "Lieutenant Kureto, that's the second trumpet! The Queen of Ice." Aoi gasps, I hold my hands to my lips and blow a piercing whistle, Moro howls and a pack of inferno wolves appeared before me, growling and their tails swishing in anger, baring their teeth, "I DON'T CARE! KILL HER!" Kureto yells, I materialised a polearm out of ice and jumped up onto Moro's back, the pack of wolves bounding after us, I stand on his back holding up polearm up, the sky lit up with a pale blue and an opening appeared above the Seraph's head, it gleamed and encased her, turning it all into ice and the inferno wolves breaking and making it crumble apart, the spikes and broken ground dissipated away and Mirai fell to the ground, "It's over, the lust for power that drives you humans and vampires ends today. All before me will be pillars of ice." I sat on Moro's back, tall and straight, looking down on all of them, the ice polearm dissolving away, I was struck my lightning and I fell off Moro, Kureto ran towards me with his electric sword and tried to slice me, I created an ice scythe and I pushed him back, he crashed into a truck, "All units, target on Yuki Ichinose. Capture her!" He grunts, "Sir!" The Japanese Imperial Army ran towards me, "Whoa, calm down tiger, you've gone crazy, welcome to the club." I saw Guren in front of me, "Human aren't worthy of this world." I materialise my scythe, "You're losing your goals my love. I told you I'd help you get your vengeance unfortunately right now, there's only one way for me to do that, I have to take complete control." Moro wraps his arms around me, I felt my blood wolf ears prick up then I fell to the ground, Narumi came up behind me, "Glad you made it out alright. Narumi. Now, I need you to give me Ki." Guren says, "I'm sorry, but after what you did, I cannot obey your orders any longer." He forces his pitchfork into the ground and a large wall appeared in front of us, "What are you doing?!" Yuu asks, "Take her!" He says quickly. 

"Is that the last of it?" Narumi asks, "Yeah." Yoichi nods, "Can those two hurry up?" Kimizuki looks out, "Just give them a moment, they deserve it." Yuu smiles, I sat on the sand, staring out at the ocean as it laps at my toes, I smile softly and lean into Mika's chest, "I'm glad your safe, you scared a few years off my life." Mika hums and kisses my temple, "Mmhm, a few years off your immortal life." I open one eye and stare up at him, "Shut up." He pinches my nose, "Come on bub," I hold my hand out as I stand up, "I was wondering when you'd call me that again, not just calling me a vampire when you were possessed." He smiles and takes my hand, I pull him after me as we walk to the group, "Let's get going, we'll rescue Kimizuki's sister, save that idiot big brother too, get him back to his old stupid self." I smile, "Took you two long enough." Kimizuki puts his fist on his hip, "You're always just in a rush is all." Mika says, I giggle softly. We all walk along the beach as we started our journey back to save them all, "You're sure the Lieutenant Colonel is really in Sanguinem?" Yoichi asks, "Yeah, the intel I got was solid." I nod, "Geez, we ran all this way just to run back? What a pain." Yuu sighs, "We should just make sure you don't sprout wolf ears and a tail then try to kill us all before we get there." Mika jokes and holds my hand tight, "Why would you say something like that bub! Besides, I saved the day!" I pout, "You should bring back that angry swishing tail of yours. It was a look." Kimizuki teases everyone laughs, "I mean at least things won't get worse, after what you did. Right?" Mitsu nudges me, "Shut up." I laugh and paw at her, "Well, let's get a move on shall we. It's going a long trip." Yoichi says, "I agree, Squad Yuki. Advance!" I mock Guren, "Yes Ma'am!" They all salute before we all burst out laughing.
