April 29th Mission Creek High School (Maddie's POV)-
"You ready?" I asked.
"You sure this is a good idea?" He asked.
"Chase, honey, I'm never sure but it will be fun." I said. I heard Bree and Adam around the corner.
I pulled Chase in for a kiss by his collar. He was shocked at my quick move but adapted. His arms wrapped around my waist and he sandwiched me between him and the lockers. The kiss was heated, my hands found their way to his hair tugging on it as our tongues fought for dominance.
His hands slipped down to my thighs and he lifted me up to wrap around his waist. I bit down on his lip and pulled softly, pulling a moan from him. His lips left mine, moving across my jaw to my neck. Looking up I came to see Adam and Bree staring in shock and horror.
"H- he-ey, Ch- ha- Chase?" I stuttered out and he attacked my neck with small bites and kisses.
"Hmm?" He hummed against me sending vibrations into my skin. I couldn't hold in the small moan, he smirked knowing full well what he was doing.
"I think we have some company." I said against his ear. He pulled away from my neck, gave me a quick peck, and let my feet hit the ground. I grabbed his hand and looked back to Adam and Bree.
"What was tha-" Bree started after finding her voice.
"Listen up, space-fillers! This is Emergency Preparedness Week. An emergency drill can happen at any time." Perry said before Bree could question us. "So when the alarm sounds, you must evacuate the building in an orderly fashion-- Like cattle, if cattle had acne... and braces... and a future filling up my gas tank." Perry laughed.
"Oh, man! I wish I had Bree's super-speed, Because you do not want to be stuck walking behind cows in an emergency-- trust me on that!" Adam said forgetting what happened earlier as Leo came over.
"You would trade your super-strength for Bree's super-speed? Man, if I had your strength, I'd just run out of the building juggling those cows." Chase mused with a juggling motion.
"Yeah, and if I had your super-intelligence, I'd have walked away from this conversation thirty seconds ago." Bree added.
"Hey, you know what would be awesome? If you guys took out your bionic chips and switched your abilities!" Leo said.
"Why can't we?!" Chase added.
"So many reasons." I said as my phone began to ring. "I got to take this." I walked over to my locker for some separation.
"Hey, so there's a villain that the league needs someone to take care of and the league said he's asking for you..." Cooper rambled as I answered the phone.
"Woah woah, woah. Cooper calm down." I said slowly. "Okay, do they have any information? Or are they sending me in blind?" I asked.
"Well from what we could tell he's a newer guy. He asked for Volt specifically but they sent in some other heroes at first but none of them could remember what happened when they came back broken and bruised." He explained.
"Ok send me the info and the assignment. I gotta get out of school but I'll get to it. Thanks Coop." I said.
"Yeah, definitely. Be safe Maddie." He said before he hung up. I walked back over to the trio and Leo.
"Hey I got an assignment, I gotta go." I said to Chase.
"Ok, come home safe and try not to do anything crazy." He kissed my forehead.
