Chapter Twelve. Date Part II

Y/N Pov

I wake up to Nick singing softly to himself. We’re on the road again. He notices me wake up and says, “Hey sleepy head.” “Where are we going Nicky?” I answered back. He just shook his head and turned the music up. It was getting pretty dark, so all the streetlights were turning on. I put the window down and let the wind blow through my hair. It seriously felt like a movie scene.

Nick turns the indicator on, and we turn into a side street. The drive in. He was taking me to the drive in. He turned the music down as we approached the till. He handed them the money and we got our tickets. Since we were in a truck, we had to go to the back rows. Nick had to reverse. He put his hand on the back of my seat, looking back, palming the wheel. It was so incredibly hot and he knew it. Once we were parked, he stayed in that position before kissing me and hopping out of the car. He ran around to my side before I could open my own door and he opened it for me. He helped me down since the step was quite high.

We walked to the back of the truck. He opened the gate and we he lifted me up. He then jumped up and organised the pillows. He grabbed out a bag filled with snacks. “This is for us to show y/n/n.” Inside were all of my favourites. He really remembers the little things. As the ads were playing Nick and I laid down finding a comfortable position.

I laid on my back while Nick put one leg in between mine and his head on my chest mimicking the way I lie on him. He looked up at me and pouted for a kiss. I lean down and give him a peck before laying my head back down. The movie began and we cuddle while watching it. Occasionally eating snacks.

“Nicky?” I said while pulling puppy face. “Can you please get me the Hot Cheeto Puffs?”

The Cheetos were right at the end of the truck so he had to get up to get them. Once he successfully did so he came back over. Pausing hovering over me.

I hovered over y/n. I stared into her e/c eyes for a few seconds before realising I needed to say something.

Nick was just staring at me. I felt butterflies go through my whole body.

I looked her up and down admiring her beauty.

He looked me up and down, it made my heart race even more.

“Y/n, I have wanted to do this for a while now.” Nick said

What did he want to do, he’s already kissed me before. I felt myself turning red.

I needed to spit it out before y/n started overthinking 

Come on Nick.

“I-I, you’re the most perfect and most beautiful woman I have ever met. I am so lucky to have met you…”

Oh Nick. Just say it please.

“U-um, will you make me the luckiest guy and be my girlfriend…please?”

Y/N Pov

” Nick.” I pulled him closer by his t-shirt. I closed the gaps between our lips and kissed him passionately. He moved his hand into my hair, grabbing it. He pulled away, “Is that a yes?”
He asked. “Yes, it’s a yes.” He relaxed and pulled me in once more, lying the rest of his body completely onto mine. He traces his fingers along my body before scooping them underneath me lifting me up, sitting up right on his lap. My legs wrapped around his waist, my hands behind his neck. I felt his buldge underneath me and decided to tease him by slowly grinding on him. He smiled into the kiss before turning me over so he was on his back lying down. Pulling my waist onto him, cuddling me now. 

We fell asleep. Still at he drive in, on the back of his truck.
