Chapter Six. Party

I rolled over as the sun crept through the crack of my curtains, warming my face up. I grab my phone and go straight to messages. Sitting in my message bank is one from Nick:

Nick: *attached: one photo*
Good morning Sunshine

I open the photo. It’s a photo of him lying in his bed. He looked so cute with is face smooshed against the pillow and the duna pulled up under his chin. I reply with a selfie of my own.

Y/n: Good morning Handsome

I roll back over, slowly attempting to get myself out of bed. *ding* It’s a twitter notification. I’ve been added to a chat inviting me to a house party tonight. It says I can bring a plus one. I check to see if Nick was on the guest list which he wasn’t, so I messaged him. 

Y/n: Me, you, party tonight, 8?

Nick: Yes, I’ll drive us. Pick you up at 7.30 x

Nick just sent an ‘x’. I think I am falling for him. It’s just melts my heart the way he looks at me with his deep dark brown eyes. His body heat just warm me up giving me such a safe feeling. The way he held my hand and stroke it with is thumb. And his hugs, they were so amazing a comforting.

-time skip-

It approaches 7.30 and I slip myself into a dark red mini dress. I put on my black heels that wrap up my legs. My hair is out and curled slightly so it waves down my back. I decided to paint my nails white as I had spare time. A knock at my door finally came. I grabbed my shoulder bag and put my phone in it. Nick guides you to his car and you listen to music on the way.

Once we arrive at the party, I notice that there are so many people already drunk. Nick walks in with me keeping me close so as not to lose me. He can see over the crowd, so he grabs my wrist and takes me over to the drink and snack table. He turns and releases my wrist so he can pour you a drink.

Nicks Pov

I let go of her wrist and turn around for a few seconds, pouring her a drink before I hear my name being yelled. I snap around. Y/n isn’t behind me anymore. I frantically look around until I see a tall, muscular man holding her by her thighs shoving alcohol down her throat, walking her up the stairs. She’s trying to fight off him, but his grip is too strong. By the time I reach her, he’s already found a spare room. I smash open the door just in time seeing the man slipping her dress up. I run in and grab y/n up off the bed. She wraps her legs around my waist, her head falls into my neck as she cries. The man yells at me but I am too distracted by y/n to listen. She whispers into my ear.

“Can we please go now?”

I take her back to the car and drive her home. 

She already fell asleep in the car, so I just carried her into my dorm. She was so peaceful at sleep I thought as I wipe her tears off her red cheeks. I realise that her shoes can not be comfortable to sleep in, so I go to unlatch them. As I slip the second shoe off, y/n stirs and grumbles some words. I couldn’t make out what she said so I just grabbed one of my hoodies and told her to get changed into it. I expected her to go to the bathroom for privacy, but she just took the hoodie, slipped off her dress so she was just in her bra and undies. She wore a matching set of black lace patterned with flowers. She slipped the hoodie on and laid down. I walk over to the couch to sleep on.

“Nicky?” She said in a raspy voice.

“Yes y/n?

“Come lay with me please.” 

I was a little shocked at her request, but I laid down beside her. She rolled over and sat her head on my chest. Her hand rested on my lower stomach giving me butterflies. She wrapped her top leg in between my legs. She looked so comfortable, so I didn’t move and let her sleep how she wanted to. I played with her hair until I looked down and realised, she was asleep. I kissed her on the head and quickly fell asleep myself.

Y/N Pov

I wake up to myself entangled in Nick. Shit. We didn’t did we? No, he wouldn’t do that while I’m drunk. You feel Nick stir underneath you.

“Good morning Sunshine.” Nick said in a sleepy voice. A voice so hot yet so cute.

“Nick?”

“Mmm?”

“We didn’t, did we?” I say raising an eyebrow

“No, I wouldn’t do that to you y/n.” He pulled my head back down onto his chest. We both didn’t have any class today so we slept in until the sun was so bright we couldn’t bare it anymore. I hopped off of Nick. I’m wearing his hoodie. It smelt so good. 

We played Minecraft together in our usual position. Me between his legs his arms wrapped around me. However, this time I had controls and the headset and Nick just watched me play. It was around lunchtime when Nick finally said, “We should go out for lunch.” I nodded excitedly and we got up and got changed. “Can I borrow something to wear, I can’t bother to go back to my room?” I asked Nick in the biggest puppy tone I could.

“Yeah sure, you left your tights here the other night so you can wear those and this.” He threw me one of his shirts. It was oversized on me, but it was so comfortable. Nick walks me down to a little restaurant. We order our lunch and talk while we wait. 

“Y/n, would you maybe come on a date this afternoon?” He asked a little nervously.

“Why’s that even a question, of course. What are we doing?” 

“That’s the thing, it’s a surprise. I plan the whole thing and you just turn up, ok?”

I nod at him and giggle. Maybe I can tell him I like him tonight.
