Chapter Thirty Two. Nick's Parents

-time skip-

We’re back at our dorm picking out outfits for dinner. I find a nice black fitted dress and matching heels to wear. Nick is useless as clothes so I help him pick out some black dress pants, a white button up, a matching black jacket and some nice leather shoes. I brushed and ran some detangler through Nick’s hair just to make it a bit more presentable. I sat on the bed and he sat on the floor between my legs to make it easier for me. After wards I did my own hair and straightened it. It was just about time to leave and Nick came over while I was putting my earrings in and gave me a big hug. 

We left to the car and drove to the restaurant. On our way there, Nick gave me a brief overview of his parents, what to expect and what to say. It was actually quite helpful allowing me some time to think over what I was going to say. We arrived before the parents and found our seats. Nick and I had a look at the menu while we waited. They came inside and spotted us right away greeting us with warm smiles. They took their seats and started to look through the menu. When the waiter came over, we all placed our orders. After the waiter left, we continued to small talk about my life and college. 

They asked how Nick and I met and how he asked me to be his girlfriend. I told them all about how adorable and sweet he was leaving out the details of us having sex. They asked me questions about my past and my family. I happily talked with them for around 20 to 30 minutes before all our food begun to come over. We all ate up and talked through our breaks of eating. I loved Nicks parents; they were incredible. I really hoped they liked me as well. Nick dad ordered dessert for us all to share which was really nice of them. We ate that up incredibly fast. The night came to an end and we all walked out of the restaurant. It was freezing outside and almost instantaneously, Nick and his father took their jackets off and wrapped them around me and his stepmom. 

“Father like Son,” I say.

They all laugh at my little joke and we start walking down the street in the cool air. I held Nick’s hand and he wrapped his fingers around mine. Not long after that, the parents said they were getting a bit tired and should go back to their place. We wish them farewell and I hug them both before they leave. Nick’s dad leaned into my ear and whispered, “You’re very good for Nick, I hope you stay in his life.” He then winked and they walked to the nearest bus stop. 

“They love you,” Nick said grabbing my other hand.

“Really, I love them too,” I said jumping up and down.

“Yes, how could they not?”

We walked back to our dorm in the crisp night air hand in hand, under the streetlamps dim rays. We arrive back at the college dorms and walk up the stairs. I take off my heels before walking up and Nick grabs my hand to help me balance. We get back to our dorm and undress ourselves. We have started undressing in front of each other as there are no longer any boundaries, every inch of each other have been explored and loved. We both crash on the sofa.
