Many years ago, Krypton was a peaceful planet. Then word got out that it was going to explode. Kara Zor-El's parents placed her and Kal-El into pods and were sent to Earth.
Kara's pod got trapped in the Phantom Zone. She had been there for some time. She finally escaped and landed on Earth. To her surprise, Kal-El was grown up and became a hoer known as: Superman. Superman decided that he couldn't protect Kara. He placed her with the Danvers family. Jeremiah Danvers was a trusted ally of Superman. They already had a daughter called Alex. They became best friends & sisters for life.
At age 11, Barry lost his mother. Both of his parents were scientists. And were harbouring a dangerous secret. When Nora died, Barry and his father moved away to begin a new life.
Barry has now started high school at McKinley High.
