The next day, Bree was going to tell Kara everything. Bree came up to Kara who snidely said "Well, if it isn't little miss perfect". "Can I help you, Bree? Last time I checked you don't really talk to me" Kara said. "Oh I'm sorry sorry about that we don't talk much. So how's that boyfriend of yours?" Bree asked. "He's fine. Now if you excuse me I have to get to class" Kara replied. "Wait! That's why we need to talk" Bree said. "Can it wait? I don't want to be late" Kara asked.

"It can't. It's important" Bree told her. "Alright fine. What is it?" Kara asked. "I'm pregnant" Bree replied. "I don't see how that's my pro-" Kara said, as she realised why Bree was telling her this. "It's Jake's" Bree replied. "No. Jake wouldn't do that. He loves me" Kara said. "I didn't say he didn't but he's also a teenage boy and you weren't giving him what he wanted. So he came to me" Bree said. "Believe what you want, but he cheated on you. Doesn't matter how much love him. I'm sorry but it's the truth" Bree said.

Later on, Kara confronted Jake. Kara was tearful and shouted "Tell me it's not true! Tell me she's lying!". "What are you talking about?" he questioned. "Tell me you didn't cheat on me! Tell me you weren't lying about working! Tell me!" she screamed. Jake didn't answer. "Oh rao! You did! You can't even deny it! How could you do this to me! To us!" she screamed. "How could you!" she shouted. "Kara, I -" Jake tried to say. "Just don't" she said as she pushed Jake away. Kara stormed off in tears.

Later that day, Barry's dad Henry was out doing some shopping. Barry was home alone. There was a knock on the door. He opened the door and saw a tearful Kara. "Kara, what's wrong?" he asked. "Jake cheated on me!" she tearfully exclaimed. Kara hugged Barry tightly. Kara spent the night at Barry's house.

The next morning, Kara was still feeling betrayed. "How you doing?" he asked. "Bit better. But I don't know what to do about Jake" Kara replied. "It's safe to say that me and him are finished. What he did, cannot be forgiven" she said. "Hey, if you need a shoulder to lean on, I'm here" Barry assured her. "Thanks Barry" she said. Vanessa arrived. "Hey Kara, you doing okay?" she asked. "I'm fine. Now if you excuse me, I'm going to break up with a unforgiving bastard" Kara said.

Kara walled into school and Jake, not surprised, was looking for forgiveness. But will he get it?

"Kara! Please can we talk?" he begged. "There's nothing to talk about Jake. I trusted you and you broke that trust by cheating on me. And if you didn't know already, we're over" Kara stated. "Look, I know I hurt you. But it was a mistake. It didn't mean anything. I swear! I love you, Kara. Not Bree. Forgive me" Jake begged. "I can't Jake and I won't" she said. "Why not?! Don't you love me?" he questioned. "It doesn't matter if I love you or not Jake. You can't be trusted" Kara said.

Jake left and Kara opened her locker, only to find many roses fall onto the floor. "Oooo, someone put roses in your locker" teased Vanessa. "Yeah. Jake again" Kara said. "I'm sorry" apologised Vanessa. "Don't be. I knew the type of guy Jake is and I ignored that. It's my own fault. Shoulda known he was gonna cheat on me" Kara said. "It's not your fault. It's stupid to think a guy like him could ever change. It's not your fault he cheated on you" Vanessa said.

"Yeah, you're ri- Wait, how did you know he cheated on me?" Kara questioned. "You, you told me" Vanessa stuttered. "No I didn't. I can't breve you knew and didn't tell me! How long have you known?" Kara asked. "A few weeks, but I was gonna tell you. I swear! But Barry told me-" Vanessa said, then Kara interrupted her. "Barry knew about this too! Why didn't you guys tell me!? I had every right to know!" Kara exclaimed. "Kara! I'm sorry! I should've told you but it wasn't my place" Vanessa stated. "Yeah well, friends don't keep secrets from each other" Kara angrily said. She stormed off in anger.

Vanessa decided to confront Jake in gym. "How does it feel to break someone's heart?" Vanessa asked. "Why don't you tell me? You're the one to blame here" Jake said. "How'd you figure that?" Vanessa questioned. "Look, it doesn't matter that Kara knows about me cheating. She's gonna be with me, no matter what" Jake stated. "I highly doubt that. Kara's not an idiot" she said. "Your friend may not be an idiot, but she's an alien, and I know she wouldn't want that getting out now, would she?" Jake asked.

"She's a what?" Vanessa confusedly asked. "She's an alien. You know, those creatures that aren't supposed to be here. Yeah, she is. What, your 'best friend' didn't tell you? Now, you may care about her, but I don't. I need for something bigger" Jake said. Vanessa was confused. Was Jake telling the truth, or was he spouting nonsense?

Later that day, Barry and Vanessa were hanging out after school. "Hey Barry, what do you think of aliens?" she asked. "Aliens? I mean, I don't know. There's no actual proof they exist. So... unproven I guess" he replied. "Why do you ask?" he asked. "Uh, science project" Vanessa answered.

That night Barry was in his room, then he got a call. From Jake. "Jake? Why are you calling me?" Barry questioned. "I'm just gonna get to the point. Just becuase me and Kara are broken up, doesn't mean you can make a move on her" Jake sternly said. "I didn't even know you guys broke up. And why would I make a move?" Barry questioned. "Good. Keep it that way. Just becuase we're broken up, doesn't mean we'll stay that way" Jake said.

"What makes you say that?" Barry asked. "Kara needs me, just like I need her. So stay away from her! Your first and final warning" Jake warned Barry.

Kara went to see Alex. And she told Alex what has been happened. "So they lied to protect you. I don't get why you're mad at them" Alex said. "Friends aren't to lie, Alex. Vanessa knew for weeks and the same goes for Barry. And they just lied this whole time and I didn't find out not from Vanessa, not from Barry, but from Bree who doesn't even like me" Kara said.

"I get it Kara, I understand how devastated you are. But they were trying to protect you. They just saw how happy you are and didn't want ruin it" Alex said. "It still hurts. I mean, it's like they're hanging out together now and they're keeping secrets from me" Kara said. Then Alex figured out why Kara was like this. "Oh I see what this is about" she said. "What do you mean?" Kara asked. "You're upset that Barry's been spending time with Vanessa" Alex replied.

"Why would I be upset?" Kara questioned. "The answers very simple. You like Barry" Alex replied. "What?! I don't like Barry!" Kara defensively exclaimed. "Come on Kara, ever since he moved here all you talk about is Barry. You obviously like him" Alex suggested. "I don't like Barry! Now if you excuse me, I have to go home cause I have homework to do" Kara said. "She so likes him" Larx said.

The next day, Barry met Kara at her locker. "Kara, why are you avoiding me?" he asked. "I'm not avoiding you. I've had a lot to do" she replied. "Really? Then how come every time you see me you walk off in the other direction?" he questioned. "I don't. I just walk to class" she replied. "Kara, come on. What did I do?" he asked. "You lied to me, Barry. You knew about Jake and you didn't tell me. I expected more from you" she replied.

"Kara I'm sorry. I should've told you but you were happy and I didn't want to ruin that. I was feeling like I was already getting in the way of your relationship. I didn't want to make it worse" Barry said. "That doesn't matter. I deserved to know" she stated. "You're right. You did deserve to know. I was a jerk for not telling you. I'm really sorry" he apologised. "Me too" Kara said.

Barry left and met up with Vanessa. "You doing okay?" she asked. "Yeah. Kara's mad at me for not telling her about Jake" he replied. "Don't worry. She can't stay at that cute face for long" Vanessa said. Kara was listening and smiled a bit.

Later that day, Henry was going through some boxes. He found some pictures of him and his wife, Nora. There was also another picture of them with a few other people. Then suddenly, he saw one of them standing in front of him. "Hello old friend" they said. "You" Henry angrily said. Them they both used speed to have a little brawl and ended up outside. "You haven't changed. Think of everything we could've done together with our powers" they said. "Listen Thawne. I am not like you! I don't use this power for evil!" Henry shouted.

(In this story, Thawne didn't kill Wells and become him).

"What about little Barry? Will he get your abilities?" Thawne asked. "We both know there's a small chance he would" Henry said. "You know, that would be something you'd be rarely wrong about. See ya later" Thawne said. Then he sped away.

Will Barry get his father's abilities? And will Kara forgive Barry?
