I guess this is an original story idea but I can see it as a fanfic and/or a original story.
The main character is raised by a monster that is really just a gentle giant who needs a hug. They just look scary and intimidating so people call them a monster.
I can see two ways this could go, either;
A. The MC was abandoned as a baby and was found by the monster who decided to take them in and raise the MC as their own.
Or
B. The MC is the biological child of the monster. They mostly look like the monster's lover but they have the ability to change their looks where it's kinda similar to the monster.
I think this would be really adorable.
