Scene 1:
It's been almost 2 months. Right now, it's October 31st, and also a Saturday morning. Catrina is still asleep, and this is her last day of tutoring at Blue Fire's sister school, Purple Fire. Sam is about to wake her up.
Sam: Psst! Catrina! Wake up!
Catrina: (wakes up, and yawns) It's Saturday, no school.
Sam: Tutoring, remember?
Catrina: Oh, right... Fuck my life!
Sam: C'mon, it's the last day. You'll never have to do it again.
Catrina: ... Fine.
[Catrina gets up, gets dressed, and goes to the kitchen, to have breakfast. Sam, Stewart and Corey join her]
Stewart: Good morning, fuggins.
Catrina: Not for me.
Corey: Oh, right. You still have that tutoring thing... When will that end?
Catrina: Today is the last one.
Corey: Oh, well, at least there's that.
Stewart: It can't be that bad.
Catrina: It is. I have to be there for hours, trying to teach those kids how to do the most basic shit, and they somehow never learn... And the worst part, is that I have to run into that jerk, Gerard. The motherfucker tutors those students voluntarily, on Saturdays.
Sam: Damn, you two are always crossing paths.
Stewart: The universe wants you two to be together, fuggin!
Catrina: (slightly mad) No, it fucking doesn't! I can't stand that guy.
Sam: Hate and love are separated by a very thin line.
Catrina: That's the most bullshit thing ever said. Hate/love relationships don't exist in real life. You either like someone, or you don't. You can't have both.
Sam: You totally can, but whatever. If it bothers you that much, just act like he's not there. I'm sure Purple Fire wouldn't be so bad then.
Corey: By the way, what's Purple Fire like? Is it like a mix between Red Fire, and Blue Fire?
Catrina: Yeah, I wish. Looks absolutely nothing like Red Fire. Kinda like a cheap version of Blue Fire, and it's a bit dead... Well, to be fair, I go there on Saturdays, so I don't know how that's like on normal circumstances.
Stewart: Yo, what's Red Fire?
Corey: That school we went to, in Australia.
Sam: Oh, right. It's the one mom and dad say it's garbage, but uncle Noah seems to love it.
Corey: You guys have no idea, Blue Fire is so much better.
Catrina: Yeah, I agree. Blue Fire is the best, despite all the shit that has happened to me.
Stewart: Yeah, it really is the best. I'm glad we realized it, while we're still there.
Sam: We still have a long road ahead... But yeah, it's been kinda fun.
Corey: You guys realize, the curse of the King bloodline ends with you, don't you?
Sam: Oh, yeah. I'm definitely not going back to high school. I've been there for too long now.
Stewart: Me neither. I know it's gonna end, but it's not the end of the world. I make sure to have the best time, just so that I look back, with no regrets.
