Advice

After their Coach Tanji announcing about a practice match between first years from other schools. Tendou told [Y/N] about this, which made her think that maybe the guy that gave her a smirk in the stadium before might be there. Ushijima trying to think of a way to approach [Y/N] couldn't seem to think so since his thoughts kept interrupted by the dream he had. He just searched through the internet, but he feels like something is also missing. So he ended up trying to think of ways while he walked towards his school.

[Y/N]'s pov

"Other teams from other schools are there??" I asked Tendou while we walked Shiratorizawa high. "Does that mean Nekoma's team are going to be there?" I asked excitedly. "Only the first years, why are you excited about Nekoma's team? They're not even included. Unless..." Tendou looked at me smirking.

Tendou can easily tell if someone likes someone, or something is bothering on that person, he can easily read people. You can never hide something from him.

" What? " I asked trying not to be obvious," You like someone there don't you?~" he playfully asked, obviously teasing me. "Nooo... Technically?" my cheeks started to get hurt since he just pinched me, which I hate. "I told you to stop doing that" I smacked his arm. "As usual you hit pretty hard~" he chuckled. "Kuroo is a third-year captain, I'm sure you know already" my eyes widened how the hell did he know?

"Come on [Y/N]-chan, don't be suprised, you're not unpredictable as you describe yourself" I rolled my eyes "well atleast I try to be" I glared at him, "besides how'd you know?" "Kuro has a thing for thicc girls, especially like you." weird how he knows a this. He is also known for being a guess monster.. Maybe that's it.. But that's only on volleyball.

"A guy like you can know so much, but still average on exams" I said and he pinched my cheek again "I'm fine with my school, don't involve my studies over your crush" I pinched his arm "Ow ow ow-" he tried pulling his arms away from me. "I told you to stop doing that" I let go of his arm and he just laughed.

"Cute little [N/N (a nickname that you hate )] has a crush on a boy who won't be able to meet him again~" "If you guys won, then I probably would have a chance" I smirked, he was after all pissed that he lost to the Karasuno. "We will beat them. And if we do, you'll have to go on a date with me~" I looked at him. "No" I bluntly said. "Really? I'm not that attractive??" He asked worryingly. "No" "Waahhh [Y/N]-chan so meaan"

Ushijima's pov

I just sat inside our class since it was lunchtime, thinking of ways to approach a girl, I tried saying hi to her, but I don't know what else to say.

That reminded me, Tendou "be yourself"
Be myself? What am I gonna do?

Him:.. *Looks at her hoping she would read his mind*
[Y/N] : '-'
Him:.....
[Y/N] : Okay... *walks away*.

He sighed, I can say something I want but I couldn't just say hi to her?

"Ushijima, is something bothering you? You seem to be in deep thought" Ohira one of my team black hair, thick triangular-shaped eyebrows, round eyes, asked me. "Trying to approach a girl" he looked at me suprised. "Do you need an advice?" He asked while smiling. "there's different kinds of girls, the one who's based of personality and the other who's based on looks. If she approaches you, she likes your looks, if she notices you but she doesn't approach nor talk to you, she might be the type to like a guy based on personality. " I nodded, listening to him. I don't have any experience to this, might as well let him talk.

"You're an attractive guy Ushijima-san" I only looked at him, he awkwardly smiled "but intimidating, no girls approach you because of the aura you're holding, but there are also some type of girls who just doesn't care, and is not scared to be around you." Now that he mentioned it, she doesn't seem to flinch or walk away when she sees me." She's that type" I said, he nodded. "Then you need to practice your social skills. You can come off harsh to some other people" I nodded, understanding everyword he said.

I've never been focused, since I was only thinking of winning Nationals.

"Just try practicing saying hi, everyday if you see her, she'll eventually come around." the bell rang right after. "Out of curiosity, who's this girl?" I looked outside the window. "Just someone." "Thank you Ohira"

Funny that it didn't go according to his plan on talking with Y/N
