Avoid

After the confession, all of them act like nothing happened the next day, but Y/N felt like Tendou was avoiding her in any way, he barely talks nor approach her. Ushijima on the other hand, still waiting for the answer of Y/N after his confession, but she still have to figure out what her feelings between the two and how to answer them without breaking their hearts.

I lay the last wet towel on the railing upstairs in the gym. I can finally rest, I leaned on the railing and observe the guys to practice.

I looked at Tendou, who's happily talking to Seimi, I sighed when we didn't even walk to school together, he's clearly avoiding me. Last night before I got in my house he gave me the big teddy bear saying that he won it for me, I thanked him but he walked away right after.

It's not my fault I barely get confessions coming from men, especially two attractive ones, don't get me wrong Tendou is attractive, same as Ushijima but I don't know how to deal with confessions especially if I don't like that person.

I'm flattered that they like me, but it's hard to commit to people.

"Why are you so deep in thought?" Ushijima said while leaning on the railing beside me. I didn't realize I've been standing here for so long that they're on their break. "Oh shoot, sorry, I'll get your water and towels" I was about to walk away when a hand on my wrist stopped me from doing so. I looked behind to see Ushijima holding it, "Are you avoiding me?" he asked, I didn't mean to walk away like that, I was just in deep thought.

"No no" I chuckled nervously, "I didn't realize that you guys are already on break" he wouldn't let go, I only looked at him concerned since he looks like he wants to say something.

He suddenly pulled me in, cupped my face and kissed me again, my eyes widen at the sudden action he did, I frowned, confused. He kissed me again, this time I didn't kiss back.

My hands on his chest, his hands on my waist pulling me in, I didn't resist, I let him be.

She kissed back, her tense shoulder relaxing, her arms on his chest wrapping his neck also pulling him into the kiss. While both of them are busy kissing, downstairs all the other members cheering at the show they're watching.

Coach furious at the loud noise, he took his attention upstairs seeing as his niece and his best ace kissing, shocked and suprised he couldn't call them out.

Tendou, suprised and heartbroken, he just smiled and cheered at both of them. [I'm sorry Tendou : D]

They both finally pulled away from each other, as she opened her eyes seeing Ushijima looking at her like she's his prey. Blushing as she covered her mouth and looked at him suprised. As if they haven't kissed before. Her attention getting caught by the members as they kept cheering, embarrassed she walked away and hid herself in the closet.

Ushijima stood there smirking, him kissing Y/N infront of them was his plan, now that they saw it, no one would touch her. Even if she didn't respond to his feelings yet. Possessive Ushijima looked down at a certain person, the red haired Tendou, who only smiled at him but not convincing enough that he was happy about the scene he saw. He knows Tendou well enough that he was mad at him. Ushijima gave him a smirk, but not long enough for the others to see and Tendou saw it clear even if it's just a split second.

Ushijima walked down stairs, he knows that Tendou has feelings for Y/N, after all they always come to school together, and now when she became the new manager here he's gotten much more closer at her. Ushijima doesn't know if it was jealousy that made him do it or just possessiveness, but how would he get jealous when he already stole her first kiss.

He was met by their short coach who looks like he was about to kill someone, Ushijima only stood there saying nothing for he knows what he did. "You better, not break her heart" the coach threatened poor Ushijima who was quietly nervous on what he did. He only nodded at him, coach gave him one last glare then walked towards the closet.

He knocked on the door, "it's your uncle" the door slowly opened but not big enough, Ushijima could see Y/N peeking, and they met eye contact, she avoid his gaze and looked down at his uncle. "You can go to your class Y/N" her uncle said, she nodded and walked out quickly, taking her things and got out of the gym avoiding eye contact. Ushijima only looking at her, but almost smiled when he saw how embarrassed she was.

"That was smooth Captain!" Reon patted his back, "I hope you guys get married soon- Ow!" Goshiki said but gotten hit by Shirabu "That's too soon Bowl cut!" Tendou approached the four of them and clapped his hand. "Congrats Ushijima, but you dare hurt her in any way," He gave a creepy smile at Ushijima that send shivers down on the other team members spine. "I will, kill you" his smiled disappeared and walked away. "That was creepy" Shirabu shivered "Too cold" Goshiki added.

The whistle caught all their attention to their coach "what are you dimwits standing there, PRACTICE!" they all ran back to the court and got back to their practice.

Tendou was serious when he threatened Ushijima, the girl he liked stole by his bestfriend especially when Ushijima knew about him having a liking to her, sounds like a betrayal to him.
