Meeting & Abroad

Y/N is nervous, she couldn't wait for their date but also nervous since he's gonna meet her parents. She told her parents about him, her mom was excited but not suprised as she did predict it. Her dad wasn't happy, but convinced by her mom so he'll meet him, the pants in this family is her mom after all. The dad couldn't do anything about it since he loves his wife very much.

Ushijima's pov

Do I look fine? I mean I do, right? I really don't know what's the difference between handsomeness and ugliness. I pulled the hem of my shirt to straighten it. I wore a casual attire today so I would impress her parents, and also I don't have anything else to wear anyways.

Besides the point, I put an axe body spray, cause this lasts long and it smells strong which is impressive. I checked myself on the mirror, I tried to force a smile and it doesn't really suit me at all so I just put on the same stoic expression I do.

I pressed the doorbell of their door, I'm pretty sure my height matching Y/N's door. The door opened, and I was met by a short chubby girl, it's her mom obviously then beside her was a tall old but with muscles man in a suit, he almost reached my height and also an attractive one at that, I guess this is where she followed her hair hair from, from her dad. I actually didn't see the dad at the beach this is gonna be my first time meeting him. "Hello there Ushijima, You've met me already, this is my husband [L/N] Timiki" I gave them a soft smile, but I could feel the intense glare that her Dad is giving me.

Her mom hit her dad's stomach, he flinched but didn't have any expression on his face. They both back away, and I went in, a decent place they had, I put off my shoes and put it neatly beside the floor, I followed behind them as they both approached the dining area.

I looked around to see if Y/N is to be found, but to my disappointment she can't be seen. "Excuse my daughter, she's cooking" her mom said as she went in to another room, leaving me and her dad that sat across the table. There's already a bowl of steaming rice sitting alone at the table and a water beside it.

She can cook? That's a wifey material. We're not there yet, calm yourself Wakatoshi! Now what do I do, her dad just keep giving me glares, obviously why would a dad like a guy with his sweet innocent daughter other than that I dreamt of her daughter doing naughty things in bed with me. I avoid making eye contact with him.

He cleared his throat, breaking the silence between us, "You're not gonna do anything to hurt my daughter are you?" He has a raspy but deep voice, I looked at him, still giving me a sharp look. "No.. Sir" he arched a brow, doubting me. "You go in the same school as hers, plays volleyball and a captain, she's the manager of your club, you were also one of the in three aces in Miyagi Perfecture." I slowly nodded, I guess she told them all about me, except how I treat her since her dad judges me." Not bad, my daughter knows how to pick a guy" to my suprised a slight smirk formed on his face, impressed by my backround.

"Although your backround is impressive, but you still did not pass my approval, I need to see with my own eyes, how you look at her, how you treat her, and how you want her to be with you, " he's pretty overprotective to her, she's an only child so she's their baby. That's sweet.

" Foods ready! " Y/N came out of the room, giving the room a bright aura. She looks cute, my body relaxed when she's approaching us smiling with a big bowl on her hand, while she's wearing an apron hiding her casual clothes. I smiled when we met eye contact, she only waved and went back in the other room again.

I looked at the bowl that's full of rice, then my nose picked up a strong familiar scent, I turned my attention to the kitchen room waiting for someone to come out as the scent was coming from there, just in time Her mom came in with another bowl, putting it down the table I started to feel hungry. They made Hashed beef rice, my favorite food. "She made this?" I blurted out, asking her mom, she smiled and nodded "My Y/N loves making these not to mention her favorite mushroom soup" my heart fluttered, it's probably a coincidence but can I just marry her already.

Her mom sat down beside the husband who just patiently waited, Y/N came in with another bowl that smelled like mushrooms, she sat beside me, not wearing any apron anymore.

"Hi" she smiled at me, I smiled back then looked at the bowl full of hashed beef. This looks good, I can't wait to taste it. We all clapped our hands and said our thanks for making the food.

I took a spoonful of the hashed beef and started eating it. The thick demi-glaced sauce collided with my tongue, tasting the red wine and a hint of tomato sauce. I chewed the beef along with the rice, it's just perfect, all perfect. She really knows how to work those hands.

I glanced at her and caught her staring at me, she gave me a questionable expression, probably asking me if I like it or not. "It's really good.." I said to her, she smiled then proceed to eat her own food.

After a few bowl full of hashed beef rice later, my stomach was full, and satisfied. Her mom started taking the empty dishes that's sitting on the table. Her dad is still sitting across us but stood up when her mom pinched his ear and dragged him out leaving me and Y/N alone

"We can go as soon as you're good to go" She said, I only looked at her, then without any reason, I reached for her head and started patting it. She tensed up, but then relaxed right after. I softly chuckled, getting her attention, "You're really cute.." I blurted out. Suprised by myself, I complimented her, this is probably the first time too.

I stopped patting her head and sat straight up again. "Thank you.." she said, almost whispering it. She's acting shy now huh. Where was that calm Y/N who likes to hit us.

This 2nd date, I was planning for both of us to just go out on the walk, checking out some places, since I'm almost graduating too might as well go on some adventures before I leave Japan.

"Y/N... Wanna come with me?" they were both walking along side the bridge where the sun is setting down. They took a break by leaning on the bridge and enjoyed the view of the sunset.

"where?" she asked him, "When you graduate... Wanna go to Poland with me?" she was silent, the sound of the river, and the cool breeze of the wing passed by them.

The short girl wondered to herself, if she wants to. She started to have feelings for him, but what caught her attention is that he's leaving Japan.

"It's okay if you don't wanna come, I can still visit Japan" he said, still no response from the girl, he started to get worried. He loves her, but he's also not gonna give up the goal he promised himself. He didn't know loving someone can be this hard, especially when your dreams never involved anyone in it.

"I'll think about it.." she finally responded, he isn't one tad bit relieved by her answer, he's worried they might break up, their relationship didn't even passed by a month yet.

"I'm planning to teach English" she continued, he glanced at her as she appreciate the wind hitting on her face. "So I'll think about it for now, don't worry Ushi, I'm not gonna break up with you.." as if reading his mind he felt relieve. He's relieved but not quite, if she doesn't wanna go with him, long distance relationship might be hard between them, as he wants just to be around her.

He caressed her arm, slowly going down toward her hand he held it, without hesitation she wrapped her finger in between his. She smiled at him, both are now looking at each other with love on their eyes. She didn't know where the feeling came from but she suddenly loves him, she wants to be with him, cuddling him, be his motivation and cook for him.

Maybe she'll reconsider, working abroad, maybe it isn't that bad.
