Chapter 3

I arrive at the school and head out of the car, waving bye to my bodyguard. I go up the steps to the entrance and head to the lockers. When I'm done putting my stuff away I see Marinette at her locker. My straight face curves into a slight smile when I see her. I go behind her locker door, leaning against the others. 

She closes the locker door and sees me, screaming as she drops her pile of books.

"Ahhh, oh uh.. Hehe- hi Adrien" she says stuttering

"Hey Marinette"

We both bend down to pick up the books but we hit heads.

"Sorry" we both say at the same time.

I grab the rest of her books and hand the pile over to her. She smiles a little bit.

A piece of her hair falls into her face and I use my hand to brush the it back behind her ear.

"I like your earrings" I say to her, admiring them. 

She blushes a little bit.

"Oh uh.. Tha- thank you"

"No problem! Well bye Marinette!" I say to her and start heading to the classroom. I walk into the classroom, and I can tell I'm early since it's empty. I take a seat in my usual spot and get my stuff ready. I open my bag to find Plagg eating cheese. "Ugh Plagg seriously"

"What!? I can't help you save paris if I'm too weak from my lack of camembert"

"Well thanks to you, I probably smell like stinky cheese all the time"

"Trust me, if you smelled like my beautiful camembert you'd have like 15 girlfriends by now. If I was a girl I'd certainly be attracted to your camembert smell"

I laugh a little "believe it or not Plagg, I dont think girls are as attracted to cheese as you are"

Plagg opens his mouth to respond but before he can get a word out a group of kids start heading into class. Plagg quickly hides back in my bag as I pretend I was just doing work.

I begin reading a book for class until Chloe sits beside me. "Heyyy Adrikins" she says with her usual annoying tone.

"Oh umm hi Chloe" I say the nicest way possible.

She starts running her hands through my hair but I pull away.

"Chloe please get into your normal seat" Mrs. Bustier says.

"Ugh fine.. Bye bye Adrikins" she says before she begins walking to her seat. I roll my eyes. 

Mrs . Bustier begins teaching the lesson, which I pay attention to this time, I feel like I'm in a better mood than I was a couple days ago. There's nothing distracting me.

After a while the bell rings, I check the schedule for today and see that I have science next.

I start heading towards the science classroom and take a seat like everyone else.

"Ok class, today we are beginning a project. I will partner each of you up with someone and you will complete a science project about one of the things we've studied this year. I will assign each group the topic they will be presenting as well." Mrs Mendeleiev says to the class.

Everyone nods showing they understand.

Mrs. Mendeleiev begins calling out the pairs, I don't pay attention until I hear my name.

"Adrien and... Marinette"

My eyes widen and I can't help but smile. It has to be fate. I think to myself, I can definitely find out if Marinette is Ladybug if I go to her house almost everyday.
