Chapter 12

I look at Marinette's back as I use my hand to rub it up and down. I feel her slow breaths. She turns around facing me and cuddles up in my arms. Her head is resting on my arm and my other is around her. She buries her head in my chest. I smile at the sight of her.

"So we tried the whole breaking up thing for a good 3 weeks, and I think it's safe to say it just didn't work out" I say to her, in a slight joking tone.

She smiles at me "oh ya, I guess it just wasn't for us" she says, still snuggling up in my chest.

I continue rubbing her back.

"Are you sure you don't need anything M'lady?" I asked her for the 5th time in the last 10 minutes.

"I already told you Kitty, I'm fine with just cuddling" she insists.

"But are you sure you're sure? Because I can set up a nice hot bubble bath for you with candles and rose petals OR I could give you a great massage" she smiles at me and starts playing with my hair. "Kitty."

"Ya?"

"I'm fine with just cuddling.. Why do you keep asking?" She asks, looking at me with a curious face. She's still playing with my hair.

"I don't know, I guess it just got a little.... Intense. I just wanted to make sure you're feeling ok, you know?"

She smiles at me again.

"Ya it was, but I enjoyed every part of it" she says with a smirk.

"Well, I'm glad," I say, smirking back at her.

I put my hand on her waist and pulled her closer to me. She buries her head back into my chest. I kiss her forehead and rest my chin on the top of her head.

I slowly open my eyes, Marinette is still in my arms. I glance behind her head and see the clock, my eyes widen and I jump up. Marinette wakes up quickly and looks around "what-what happened?" she says confused.

"We slept too long! My father is supposed to check on my piano progress in 5 minutes! AND I still have to bring the car back, i'll never make it!"

"Um Adrien?"

"What??"

"You do realize you have access to a superpower that makes you able to jump from building to building and arrive at a destination that's all the way on the other side of the city in a very short amount of time... right?"

"Rightttt.. But what about the car?"

"Your father has like 30 cars, just drive back to the parking lot tonight and he'll never notice"

"Thanks Bugaboo, you're a genius!"

"I know." she says confidently as she jokingly flips her hair.

I move my face closer to hers, are faces are 1 centimeter apart.

"I love you, Bugaboo" I say with a smirk.

She puts her hand on my chin and turns my head, making me face her clock.

I gasp and jump off her bed. She giggles at my reaction.

"Plagg, claws out!" I transform and wave bye to her as I jump out of her window.

She smiles at me and blows me a kiss.

I start jumping from building to building, as I'm in mid-air I look down and see Luka talking to a random girl. I forget that I'm literally in the air and hit the side of the building and fall on to the ground. I get up and rub my head. I get a little frustrated but I get up and use my pole to get me back up on the building. I continue jumping all the way to my house. I jump through the window of my room and transform back as I land. I hear my fathers footsteps and run over to the bench in front of the piano. Right when I land on the bench the door opens. I smile at my father and we make eye contact, he just has the same plain expression on his face.
