Me and my Princess

Part 2 - Chapter 6

"Dear diary, today is the last day of summer. I can't imagine going back to school after all this time off. At the same time I'm a little excited to see everyone I love, but also get out of my house everyday again. I'm not saying I didn't enjoy this summer, this was one of the best summers I've had. Now that I have my friends and my amazing girlfriend, I don't think I've had a bad day in a while. This summer I spent a lot of my time with my friends but mostly my girlfriend, also having the time of my life fighting villains. Blah blah blah blah"

I crumple up the piece of paper I'm writing on. "Ugh Plagg, this is so stupid" I complain to him.

"Well ya, I could've told you that like 20 minutes ago when you started writing it" he says back with his usual sarcastic tone. I roll my eyes at him.

"I cant believe Marinette thought id enjoy writing in a diary, sometimes I wonder how well she actually knows me"

"Ugh finally, does this mean you're breaking up?" I give Plagg a look.

"WELL, it's not like I don't like Marinette, it's just you guys are sooo annoying when you're around each other." he explains himself.

"Plagg, you just have no emotions. The only thing I've actually seen you care about is stinky cheese" I say to him as I glance at my cupboard full of Plagg's cheese.

"So what? Are you really complaining that I have TASTE?" I rolled my eyes at him again.

I get up and head over to my bed. I grab my phone off my bed and check the time. "3:34pm".

"Oh no, I completely lost track of time" I grabbed my backpack and ran out of my room.

Alya, Nino, Marinette, and I made a plan to hang out on the last day of summer break.

I run out the door but before I close it I hear Nathalie call me.

"Adrien, where are you going?" she says.

"To spend the day with my friends, I already confirmed it with my father." I say back to her, a little worried I wont be able to go.

"Very well then, go have fun with your friends" she smiles a little at me which surprises me a little.

I run out the door and begin walking to the bridge where we wanted to hang out for the night.

I start to feel my phone vibrating in my pocket, I take it out and check to see who is calling me. I assume it's Marinette calling to check if I'm still coming. As I look at my phone I see a selfie of me and Marinette taking over the whole screen. With the words "M'lady" in the middle. Meaning that my assumption was right. I answer the phone. "Hey Bugaboo, whats up?"

"Bugaboo? That's a weird pet name, but hey I don't judge" I hear Alya say.

"Oh uh hi Alya"

"Hey sorry my phone died so I'm using Marinette's. Just checking if you're still coming."

"Oh uh ok, ya im on my way"

"Ok see you then, byee"

"Bye"

I continue walking but a little faster. Finally I turn the corner and see them all talking.

"Hey guys!" I call out to them, making them all turn to face me. I eventually reach them.

"Hey Adrien!" Alya and Nino say.

Marinette walks up to me and takes my hand. We smile at each other.

"So where are we going?" I ask them.

"Well we were thinking we were going to get ice cream, and walk along the bridge. Maybe we can also walk up the eiffel tower and hang out there as well." Alya explains.
