Me and my Princess

Chapter 7

I'm laying down in Marinette's bed on my phone. Marinette is resting her head on my chest. Her leg is on top of mine. My other hand is playing with her hair. She's rubbing her hands up and down my chest.

We sit here without talking. Every now and then I read something funny on my phone and show it to her but that's all. I feel her deep breaths as her chest rises and falls. She's half asleep at this point.

I get a text from my bodyguard saying that he's here to pick me up. I don't want to interrupt M'lady's sleep so I slowly move my body out from under her. I carefully get up and start to step down her ladder. Before I go any further I take one last look at her. She looks so peaceful, making me smile. I move back up to her and kiss her forehead. I move my hand and throw her hair one more time. "Goodbye, M'lady. I love you." I whisper to her.

I step down her ladder and walk out of her house. I meet my bodyguard and he takes me home.

I write a text to Marinette. "Goodbye M'lady, I had to go and I didnt want to interrupt your sleep. I know you wont get this for a while but I hope you enjoy your sleep. I love you." I hit send and sit back in my seat.

When I get home, I'm a little tired. I don't know why but I decided to go to bed earlier. I lay down in my bed and think to myself. My eyes slowly start closing, I'm about to fall asleep. I hear my phone chime on my table. I turn around in my bed and check it. "I love you too" I see on my phone from Marinette. I smile a little. I put my phone down and turn back around. This is my favourite way of falling asleep I think to myself... thinking about Marinette. Finally my eyes start to close again. I try to keep them open but they feel too heavy. I let myself fall asleep.

I wake up and see that I'm on top of a random building. I look around confused. Where am i? How did I get here? I try to get up but my leg seems to be in some pain. I fall back down. It's not like my leg was in a lot of pain, I just didn't expect it. It seemed to increase when I moved it.

I feel relieved as I see Ladybug coming towards me. "Hey M'lady, wanna help me here?" I ask her when she's close to me. She just ignores me as if I'm not here and passes by me. This surprises me. I watch a black figure in the distance coming towards her. Finally it's closer and I can see it more clearly. It's cat noir! Or at least someone using the black cat miraculous. I look closer at them, the person in the cat noir costume seems to have black and blue hair. I look even closer. It's Luka! "M'lady!? Why is Luka using my miraculous?? Why are you ignoring me?!" I yell to her, holding back tears. She still doesn't answer, I feel invisible.

"Good job, Bugaboo" I hear the imposter say.

"Hey! I told you not to call me Bugaboo!" she yells back at him, in the flirty tone she uses with me.

"Oh come on, you call me Kitty and I call you Bugaboo. I think its cute." he says with a smirk

"Well, I think you're cute"

I gasp. I feel warm tears running down my face. I try to get up and push them away from each other but my leg is in too much pain. I hate watching my worst fear and not being able to do anything about it. They move their faces closer together. My eyes widen. I watch as their lips touch and put his hands on her body. "NOOOOOO" I yell out, tears running down my face and hitting the ground. I feel like I'm sitting in a puddle made out of my own tears.

I jolt up in my bed, I look around seeing that I'm still in my room. My face is warm and has tears running down it. I get up to wash my face. I look at myself in the mirror, my face is all red. I'm still slightly crying. That was the worst nightmare I've had in a while. I head back to bed trying not to think about it, but it's too hard. I have trouble falling back asleep.

I decide to text Marinette to see if she's still awake.

"Marinette?"

"M'lady?!"

"Are you up?"

"Bugaboo, pleaseee wake up"

"Sweetie?"

"Ok im guessing youre still sleeping"

"I love you"

I turn back around in my bed, facing away from my phone. I feel one tear run down my face. "I wish I had Marinette with me" I think to myself. She always has a way to make me feel better.

I try to fall back asleep but get frustrated since I can't. I close my eyes, still not falling asleep.

I hear my phone chime and I quickly turn around. I check my phone.

"Are you ok?"

I read off her text.

"No, I kinda had a bad dream, I just wanted to see if you were still awake." I wrote back to her.

"Oh I'm sorry Kitty, what was the dream about?"

Oh um it was of you and Luka, you guys were kissi- I delete my text and start again.

Oh it was um of you replacing me as cat noir, I felt invi- I delete it again. I have trouble thinking of what to tell her. I don't know if I should tell her the truth. I don't know how she'd respond.

"Oh it was just about us losing to a villain, not that big of a deal" I sent to her.

"Oh I'm sorry I didn't respond faster, don't worry that won't ever happen Kitty" she texts back.

"Ok well I think I can sleep now, thanks M'lady. Goodnight , love ya"

"Bye bye Kitty" I smile and turn around.

I feel a little bad lying to her but id feel stupid telling her about the dream. I know Marinette would still make me feel better about it but I'd still be embarrassed. Finally I'm able to close my eyes and relax, slowly falling asleep.
