"Wait, but don't you have to subtract first?"
"No, first you divide then you subtract"
"Why?!"
"Uhh because that's how math works..."
"Ughhh I hate this! I hate everything and everyone!"
"Except me, of course!" I say, smirking and flipping my hair.
She stops and pretends to think about it. I try not to laugh as I pretend to get angry. She laughs a little but then turns back to the math.
"Ok so what I'm supposed to do is-"
I stare at her soft lips as she figures out what to do. It takes all my power to resist pressing my lips against hers. I stare at them, mesmerized.
"Adrien?"
"Uh ya" I say, still distracted.
"Is that right?"
"Adrien?.. Adrien?!!"
"WHAT!" I say, surprised.
"Were supposed to be doing math." she says as she gestures over to the textbook sitting between us.
I let out a groan. "Math is sooo boring, we should just make out instead" I say, smirking, as I crawl over the textbook.
Her eyes widen, I see her trying to hide the fact she's blushing.
"A-Adrien we can't, we have to do math" she says, embarrassed.
"Nah, we're done with math" I say as I slam the textbook shut and move closer to her.
She flinches at the sound of the book shutting. I smirk at her as our faces almost touch. I pin her against the wall she's sitting against and place my lips on hers. Our tongues touch and I feel her soft lips on mine. We gently kiss as her head leans against the wall. I can feel her warm deep breath on mine as we continue. She runs her hand through my hair, as I move down to her neck. I give her soft kisses on the neck as she tilts her head up. My hands move up and down her waist to the rhythm of her heavy breathing. Eventually I move my lips back to her lips and continue kissing her. I run my hand up to her neck and place my hand around it. I use my thumb to rub the spot behind her ear. As my thumb hits a spot near the back of her head, close to the starting of her hair she bites my lip. I smile as I continue kissing her. We stay like this for another 5 minutes until my alarm goes off and we both jump. She accidentally bites my lip hard. I flinch a little but laugh it off. Our breathing is still heavy as I stand up. Before fully getting up I kiss her on the forehead and begin walking out of her room.
Her parents and I smile at each other awkwardly as I exit the building, we both know we're thinking the same thing. I check my watch and realize I'm late, so I start running over to the school. Once I arrive outside the school, I stop to catch my breath. I rub the sweat off my forehead, then rub my lips because the top of my lip is sweaty as well. As I'm looking down at the ground I see a little bit of blood on my hand from my lip when Marinette bit it. I look at it a little but realize I got distracted and run into the school.
As my basketball game is about to start I see people beginning to fill the stands. I look at the doors, waiting for Marinette to arrive. I start to overthink a little, worrying that she's not coming but not long after I see her enter the gym and take a seat. She looks around the gym trying to find me, our eyes meet and we smile at each other from across the gym. We share a moment until we hear a whistle to meet up with our team. I hear the cheering of the crowd as my team gets more and more points. Finally the teams are tied and were playing the winning round. I feel a pit in my stomach, trying not to mess up. A teammate throws the ball over to me and I watch as the other team surrounds me. I look around trying to find a way to get out of this situation. Marinette's eyes meet with mine, I see her staring at me. She looks excited but nervous at the same time for my next move, she can tell that I'm nervous. She smiles and nods to me, telling me I can do it. A look of determination spreads across my face, as I look away and back to the ball. I run and dribble the ball away from the other team, dodging everyone. Finally I'm surrounded again and I look around. I'm unable to throw the ball to anyone, so I turn around to see the basket. I look up, nervous. I take a deep breath and throw the ball. It feels like everything is moving in slow motion as I'm waiting for the ball to go in. My eyes widen as the ball goes through the basket and bounces on the ground. The crowd stands and cheers. My team surrounds me, high fiving and congratulating me. I turn around to find Marinette. She's standing and cheering my name, a big smile appears on my face as I watch her. She looks at me with a proud smile, as she's clapping. We both run to the side lines, not breaking eye contact. I stop on the sidelines and tightly hug her as her body hits mine. I pick her up and spin her around, then put her back down. We look at each other, both of our faces filled with joy. She gets up on her tippy toes and gently kisses me, we kiss for a moment but eventually spread apart.
"I'm so proud of you" she says to me with a big smile.
Without saying anything back I pull her in for another hug, but this one lasts longer. I move my lips close to her ear and whisper "I love you" to her.
She squeezes me tightly, "I love you more" she says back. I know she's smirking.
I don't argue it, instead I just continue hugging her.
