After yesterday Sabrina now knows not to reveal my secrets. Especially to my friends.
I was getting ready for school by the front door. As I was straightening my tie, I noticed an envelope sitting on a table in front of me.
I picked it up and was about to open it.
"Jason!" I heard Joey yell.
I panicked and stuffed it into my bag, and I ran out of the house. After school, I decided to hang out with Sabrina; we had to sneak in because she didn't want her parents to see her bringing a boy home.
We got up to her room, and we got in without a peep.
I noticed how big the room was; her furniture looked like it was made of plastic. There was a large window by the north wall. It was big enough for someone to go through, and on one of the walls was a corkboard with reminders on it.Sabrina picked up a violin case.
"I need to be practicing. You don't mind, right?" she asked me.
"I don't mind, I like violin music" I said leaning against the wall."Is your mom always like that?"
"Yup"
She started playing some introductory notes.
"You know eagle hybrids have always been interesting to me," I mentioned, "you have hollow bones...right?"
"Yeah, it helps me fly."
Okay I have to know.
"Also, I don't want to be rude, but how do you....sleep with those?" I asked, "i mean, I sleep on my side, so I don't hurt my tail...but-"
I was interrupted.
"I wrap them around my chest; it's like a free blanket," she said, chuckling a tiny bit.
Then I heard someone walling up the stairs. My ears twitched.
"Oh, I have to go. Your mom's coming up, see ya," I said as I opened the window and climbed down a drain pipe. She waved to me as I did.As soon as I arrived home, I went to my room to change out of my uniform. I changed into jeans and a green t-shirt.
Then after a couple of hours. I heard the front door slam shut, and due to the smell, it was Henry.
I left my room and saw him enter his.I opened the door and saw him on his bed.....he seemed like he was close to crying.
"Henry?" I asked, "are you okay?"
Wouldn't understand?
"I won't understand because you won't tell me," I said. I'm concerned. I went to his bed and sat down at the foot of it.
Henry backed away from me."Broken? How so"
It was then he told me something, and everything made sense now.
"I'm depressed"
