I'll Save You (a Brittana story)

Holiday (part 1)

Brittany's POV
Today is the day we go back to school. I wake up really early, panicking about the day ahead. I take a shower and get dressed into my Cheerios uniform. Santana is beginning to stir so I walk over and kiss her on the cheek "morning beautiful, time to get dressed"
She groans and sits up, stretching. I take her hands and pull her up off the bed before getting her Cheerios uniform for her "come on Tana we need to get there on time. Mercedes said that Mr Schue was going to make an announcement this morning"
She gets ready slowly and we eat our breakfast.

Mrs Pierce drives us to school and drops us off. Ever since we were attacked she hast let us go anywhere by ourselves. It's actually been really nice having a parent really care and worry about you.

I step out the car and grab Britts hand. We walk into the hall and can immediately hear the whispers. People look at us disgusted, like we did something wrong. I shake my head and pull Britt with me, to get way from everyone. The choir room door is open and we half walk, half run through.
The whole club turns to look at us and then Quinn runs up to us, hugging us close. Mercedes walks up and then hugs us gently, but everyone else stays where they are.
I look at them "come on guys, I'm fine"
I'm really not fine, but if I keep pretending it should come true. Fake it till you make it!

Brittany's POV
When nobody in the club moves I take Santana up to the back corner where we usually sit. Sam walks up to us "I just want to let you know that umm.. I'm going to look out for you. Nobody should have to go through that and I won't let it happen again"
I smile "thank you Sam"
I nudge Santana "oh well thanks I guess Trouty Mouth" she says reluctantly.

Mr Schue runs in the door, late as always "oh everyone's here..even Santana and Brittany. Great to see you back girls, we've really missed you and I hope that you are okay."
Santana snorts and I have to hold a hand over my mouth to stop myself from laughing. Mr Schue is so clueless when it comes to talking to us. He can have a full conversation with Rachel but he has no idea what to do when it comes to me and Santana.

"So guys, great news!! As part of the Glee club this year, all show choirs are required to go on a team building retreat to really work on our binding. So we will all be going away. The bus leaves tomorrow morning at 5am so everyone needs to get up early. It's a 3 day stay so bring enough clothes plus swimwear. All expenses are going to be paid by the National Show Choir foundation so everyone can go. This is a big deal so make sure to enjoy it and really use your time together"
The club clap and talk excitedly. I turn to Santana
"It's sounds fun. A week away together, we can lose the others and it will be like our own private holiday"
"That sounds like heaven Britt"
The bell rings and we go to our classes. I sit beside Santana protectively and she squeezes my hand to say thank you. Music is awful, and seems to drag on for hours. Artie isn't speaking to me so I text Santana and we agree to meet up in the bathrooms.

I sit on the sinks and wait for her to arrive. She comes over and stands between my legs. I grip her hips and kiss her hard on the lips. I run my tongue along her bottom lip, looking for access. She opens and I slip my tongue in. We stay that way, kissing as if we haven't seen each other in years, until someone walks in. I try to push her away but we aren't fast enough.
Tina stands in front of us "eww gross can't you keep that stuff for home"
Me and Santana both blush "yeah sorry Tina"
"I should probably get back to class, miss Holliday will be wondering where I am"
"Yeah, Artie will probably have noticed I'm not there anymore"
"See you later Britt"
"See you Santana"

At the end of the day Mrs Pierce picks us up and we tell her about the trip that we are going on. She agrees that it sounds fun, and tells us we can go.

Santana's POV
The alarm goes off and I get out of bed "quick Brittany it's time for the trip!"
She gets out and we dress in our clothes for the day. I'm actually excited for this, 3 days away with my beautiful girlfriend. She grabs both of our bags and we run downstairs to get a quick breakfast.
Mrs Pierce drives us to the school and we get out the car after she tells us goodbye. Most of the Glee club is there, apart from Tina and Mercedes. Mercedes arrives soon after us and Tina sprints along the sidewalk with her suitcase "sorry...my..dads...car..broke...down" she gasps between breaths.
Mr Schue tells us to get on the bus and we do. I sit beside Brittany and rest my head on her shoulder. I fall asleep eventually, but she stays awake.
