Homeward Bound

Amy and Danny were on the plane headed for home. She had a great time in Belize  and hoped they could go back again some day. It would take a few hours to get home and once they get there they have to hurry home and then head to the first doctor's appointment so they can make sure all is ok with the pregnancy. Amy and Danny watched a few movies  on the jet and had some snacks. Danny got out his guitar and began strumming a few things and  writing songs as they were  flying back. He had so many idea's in his mind and needed to make a new album really soon. Amy loved  listening to him play and write music, he had such a brilliant mind and knew how to put a song together. She loved this about him and so much more."I love you Danny Wood and I am so glad to be your wife." Amy told him as she admired him. " I love you too, baby and I can't wait for us to go to the doctor to make sure you and our baby are doing alright. That is what is the most important thing to me right now.Also,  I want you to know that  I am going to be so involved in it all even to the point I might drive you a little bonkers so If I get to be to much please tell me. And I might get a little bossy at times and just know its out of genuine concern for you and the health of our child. I know I didn't know what to think or how to take it at first but now Iam ready to hit this head on and keep going." Danny assured her sincerely. Amy smiled." Thank you so much baby, It's so wonderful to know that you are by my side  through it all. Cause I won't lie, I can get pretty nervous about things like this sometimes, especially having a baby at my age, I worry that things are going to go wrong and i know that i need to really think positive cause it doesn't do any good to think otherwise....and  I  feel like its kinda like riding a bike, you just get back on and try it all again." Amy said being serious."I know baby, and you got me and our kids, and dad and our friends to help  make sure you keep positive about this and they might have to help me keep positive sometimes also. For awhile i told myself I was done parenting when my kids were grown and I know you told me the same once we started Dating and you told me before we made love for the first time that is was a possibility that you could get pregnant again so I know we used precautions but as we know that is never 100 percent full proof. And it happened and now that I think about it. Iam totally into being a parent again and I know I was an ass about it and I very nearly lost you over it...cause you said you weren't gonna hold me to it and make me be a parent again if I didn't want to.... and you were willing to raise the baby alone, and then I had the talk with my dad and he set me straight on a few things and I am glad he did....then I read your letter again then it all hit me like a ton of bricks about how I was acting about the whole thing." Danny said taking Amy's hand." I am so glad I didn't lose you cause I would have been a huge mess if you want to know honestly. "I don't know how you put up with me sometimes but you certainly know how to wake me up about certain things." Danny told her."I wasn't gonna keep it from you cause you have a right to know but I wasn't gonna hold you to being a parent again either. And definitely abortion is NOT and will NEVER be an option but I think once our child is born I might talk to the doctor about  getting my tubes tied.Then we can have fun and not have to worry about it at all."Amy said kissing his cheek.Amy and Danny talked for a little longer then they both fell asleep in each others arms on the couch in the plane. They slept for a couple of hours then Danny got up and went to use the bathroom, he decided to let Amy sleep and he went about writing a song just for her. He knew exactly the one he wanted to write. It came so easily to him. After an hour Amy woke up, Danny looked over at her and smiled." Hello beautiful, Iam so glad to see your lovely face and  beautiful blue eyes. How about we have some dinner and the pilot said that we are gonna be landing in about 4 hours or so.Then once we get home you can rest and me, and Daniel and your boys, now our boys can help me carry the luggage in and we can get set to unpack. Then in the morning we can go to your appointment. I am glad to know we are gonna be home much sooner then I thought we were...that will be nice." Danny told her as he got her a water out of the fridge and then made them a sandwich. He sat back down and they watched yet another movie  until they landed. After 4 hours they finally landed in Miami and Chris was there to pick them up from the airport. Amy had texted him  when she knew when they might be back for sure. Once they got off the plane they got their luggage and were soon on their way home.They couldnt' wait to give the kids and Dan and the grand daughters and Amy's grandson the stuff that they had bought them on the honeymoon. Once they arrived home all the boys took the luggage in and Amy and Danny gave them all everything and then they sat down and caught up with the family.(Continued in the next part.)
