Danny Wood: Love of a Lifetime.

Love is in the Air.

 The next morning Amy woke up and smiled after remembering what happened the night before. She saw his strong arms wrapped around her waist as  she tried to get up. She wanted to get up without bothering him. She waited a few minutes longer then slowly and carefully got out from underneath his arms...Amy wanted to make some breakfast for him. She grabbed her clothes and went into the bathroom. Once she was done she came back through the living room and he was still asleep. She kissed him gently on his head and went into make some coffee. She got the coffee started and was looking in the fridge to see what to make for breakfast when she suddenly felt a pair of arms wrap around her waist. She smiled to herself and turned around. "Good morning handsome, I was just getting ready to make you some breakfast."  MMMMM....well before you make me breakfast can I have dessert? Danny asked nuzzling her neck..."Cause I want some more of you." He told her in husky voice." Amy turned around in his arms and put her hands behind his neck and looked up into his eyes. And in a sexy voice answered." Where do you want me?" Danny cleared off a spot on the table."Right here beautiful." Then he lifted her up on the table and clothes were once again off and he took her right on the kitchen table... and they did it more then once."Once they were done Danny looked at the time."OH shit, I am gonna have to go soon, but I don't want to  leave you...you make me feel really young again and I haven't felt like this in a really long time if ever. I really want this to work with us. I want to hit anything and everything head on with you. The bad part is I won't be able to touch you, or hold you, and love you like I want to....we will have lots a miles and a screen between us." Danny said a little sad about it.Amy took his chin and pulled it up making him look at her. "Danny, if this is meant to be it will be...no matter if there is a computer screen, a phone screen, or whatever kind of screen. And we will see one another as much as we can. and maybe like you said I can come on the tour with you sometimes.... I mean my kids will know where I am. And the adult kids will be fine with it and my teenagers as I said are with their dad for the summer. and I can do my job from anywhere now that I am gonna go into business for myself. If that is the kind of thing you are worried about." Amy said to him. Danny gave her a little bit of a smile." Yeah, I really do want to meet your kids sometime, especially if we take this  where I want it to go, then your kids can meet my kids and grandkids... you know what we are gonna make the most of it no matter what....and you're right, if we are meant to be it will be. I love your thinking." Amy smiled and kissed him." Exactly, No worries ok, we are gonna take this step by step, No pun intended." Amy replied laughing."Now would you like some breakfast before you have to get back on the road?"  Danny grinned and put his forehead against hers," Yes, I would love that and some coffee please. I can even help if you want cause I love to cook."  Danny offered." Alright then let me things started... and you can watch it while I um...clean off the table." Amy said winking at him."Oh yeah, guess we should do that."  Danny said laughing. Soon Amy and Danny were having breakfast and  drinking their coffee and laughing and talking about all kinds of random things. Danny's phone went off and he looked at it and sighed." Luke my bus driver said he would be here in about 25 minutes. I guess I need to get everything ready to go." Danny told her." Remember, chin up and we are off to a good start with things, and if we are truly dedicated to making this work it will work. And I will help you get your things together so you won't be having to do it by yourself...then I am gonna get this house cleaned up since we kinda messed a few things up.' Amy said kissing his nose as she helped him and soon they got his things all packed and ready. He was gonna take his shower on the bus. 25 minutes passed quickly and Luke  told Danny he was there. The bus pulled up in front of Amy's house and the neighbors were all looking to see if they could figure why there was what looked like a tour bus there. Amy walked Danny out to the front porch in her robe. He sat his bag down and placed his hands on both sides of her face and gave her a passionate kiss full of sunshine and promise of great things to come. He slowly grabbed his things and walked to the bus... he got on and sat on the couch by the window on his bus and he waved at her as the bus drove off. He laid his head back on the back of the couch and sighed. He really hated to leave her and he really needed to talk to Jared. Amy was still standing on the porch as the bus went down the road. Once the bus was out of sight she went inside and took her shower and got dressed then began cleaning the house. She wondered how Miranda was fairing and thinking she might be home soon cause Donnie would have to leave also. Danny thought about Amy as he was standing in the shower and the hot water running over him. He already felt the loneliness... this was real, he didn't know what to think, but he was gonna take it wherever it was gonna go, Amy was so different in so many ways then most of the women he had been with even his ex wife. Amy was truly the missing piece to his broken heart and she was every bit of his dream woman. Him and Amy talked about so many things good and bad and didn't hold anything back and neither one of them ran from it.So he knew this had to be right. He didn't think his dream woman ever exsisted  but here she was. Amy got the house cleaned up and was lost in thoughts about her and Danny and how they had talked for hours about their lives and families and  the good and the bad. And he didn't tuck tail and run from some of the things she told him. She knew it was genuine and real and that her dream to be with him was actually coming true. And she had loved him for over 30 years without him even knowing it at first. And she loved how he laughed and got a sparkle in his eyes when she told him that. He felt special knowing that he was her favorite New kid for all that time. She loved so much about him and she was sure that he had his moments just like she had hers but if they could get through them then that is what was important. Amy was finishing cleaning up the last of everything when a car pulled up in front of the house and Miranda got out. She came inside and smiled.Amy smiled back." So Miranda how was your night?" Miranda got a little bit of a shy grin."It was an amazing night and yours?,  Amy blushed  then said." Danny spent the night with me and things happened and it was magical and I know its right... he didn't want to leave but they have a show tonight."  Miranda shook her head knowingly. " Yeah, But I think that we are all gonna be just fine. Cause as it stands right now you and I both have the most amazing men and I don't know about you but I don't plan on trading them in for a new model." Miranda said joking. Amy laughed." I wouldn't want a new one I like the  one i have he is so amazing and wonderful in SO many ways."Then the ladies laughed and talked. Amy even talked to her kids and told them about Danny, leaving out the intimate details of course but letting them know that he wanted to be with her. And they were on board with whatever made their mom happy as long as he didn't hurt her.Meanwhile the guys are all getting some much needed sleep on their bus, Danny kept having dream of him and Amy... he really needed to ask Jared when they could have their families go with them cause he wanted to see if Amy could come along and tour with him.he knew she wasn't family but he hoped she would be some day. Soon Danny woke up and he called Jared. When Jared answered he asked him about it and Jared told him he would get back to him about it. Danny got on his laptop so he could do a face time with his kids and see what they thought about things. Once he talked to them and they all said the same thing as long as he was happy they were happy for him. So he video called Amy, Amy was doing some work on her laptop when a video call came through, she answered it and saw that handsome face that just left her a few hours ago."Well hello there Handsome, how are you?"Amy said. Danny smiled. " I'm good beautiful just missing the hell out of you." Amy and Danny talked for a bit...  then he said." Babe, unfortunately I have to go we have a photo shoot and some interviews to do before all the craziness starts. If its ok I will try to talk to you again on intermission and after the concert if your gonna be up.' Danny said. Amy smiled." You can call me anytime night or day....I get insomnia a lot and  am up usually. And if you do happen to wake me up it's ok you and my family I will gladly wake up for ok? No worries. have a great show and I will talk to you later." Amy said blowing him a kiss. Danny gave her a small smile. Damn he already missed her. Alright, thank you...and I for sure will talk to you later. Bye for now. I will be thinking about you." Then Danny ended the call. Once they got to the photo shoot Jared and Danny talked. And Jared told him he would try to have an answer for him by the morning. The guys did their photo shoot and took a break Donnie and Danny had time to talk and they talked about various things. Then the break was over. Jared kinda noticed Danny going through the motions and trying to be happy and involved. Jared had to do some thinking."Hey Danny I would like to talk to you for a few minutes if I can." Jared said to him."Sure man, what do you want to talk about" Danny asked him. "As you know I have been doing some thinking about the question that you asked me earlier. I'm sorry I didn't get back you sooner but I had to check on a few things. So I have decided to let you take Amy , on tour with you for the rest of the tour. You said she did event planning she may come in handy for quite a few things as far as that goes. And I know you aren't seeming like you are at your best right now so if it helps you to have a little pep in your step then I want you to have her with you. So tonight after the show you can have the car go get her just like they do with the other significant others or you can wait till tomorrow and she can fly out to you and meet you on the bus." Jared told him spreading his hands. Danny's face lit up like a Christmas tree. "Man that would be great, I was gonna try to surprise her but since we are doing the way you said then I will have to have her get ready so that she has enough time to pack her bags. And then I think on one of our days off I will show her my place in Florida.Thank you man....I am so happy, I will call her on intermission from the show tonight and have her get her stuff and get packed. I know I don't have enough time to call her right now... and I think this is gonna be a great thing. You are the best manager." Danny said smiling brightly. Jared laughed."Thank you, but now its back to work you guys have an interview to  attend in about 45 minutes so lets finish this photo shoot and do that." Danny  and the guys did their photo shoot. Danny texted Amy real quick and told her he was gonna call her later on intermission cause he had something he needed to talk to her about.. he had a spring in his step, he was looking forward to all the beautiful things ahead. Life was hopefully gonna get better. Soon the guys were off to the studio for their interview with a local radio station. The guys were asked alot of questions about various things. Everyone always wanted to know if they were single to which all of them answered No, we are taken now no more single life for us." Jordan said speaking on behalf of the others as well as himself. Soon they were done with the interview and they were invited backstage for refreshments. Some of them had to use the bathroom so they headed that way. Danny was talking to one of the producers and  he hit a button on his phone and a picture of him and Amy came up. He showed the producer her picture. the producer thought she was beautiful.'You know what? WE should do a show based on all of you guys and your significant others...you know have them on the show as well if they will come on and then we all get to meet your other halves. But then you also know you guys might get some hate emails and things cause other women will be upset cause you didn't pick them." Danny shook his head." You know what though, we do what we do cause we love it and we wouldn't be where we are without our fans....but at the same time they also have to realize that we have lives to outside of what we do...and we may not have picked those particular fans for our significant other but we love all our fans. So they will either like us or hate us. We get that everyday regardless.... so it's kinda par for the course." Danny told him." The producer smiled and pursed his lips..."Very good point. Thank you for talking to me , and you enjoy your refreshments and I hope your show goes great tonight. Danny took a minute to call Amy now instead of waiting for Intermission at the show tonight... he wanted to talk to her  and hear her voice. So he dialed her number. Amy picked up. Hello Handsome, how is everything going? " "Hi beautiful and everything is going great, we did the photo shoot and we just got finished with the interview, The producer wanted to do a show with us and our significant others. I don't know how many of you guys would actually go on there. I mean you might... cause you aren't shy by any means." Danny said laughing." I might only cause you would ask me. But then again I might get a little bit of stage fright. Hard telling sometimes." Amy said laughing as well. "Well what I  was calling for was to tell you that Jared, approved you to travel with me if you would want to do that? And then on our days off you could come to my place and see Florida... I mean only if you want to... it would be nice having you around but  I also don't want to take you away from your kids." Danny said hopeful that she would want to go. Amy listened to what he said." Oh wow, Danny that would be awesome and my kids will be fine with it cause as I said my teenagers are visiting their dad for the whole summer and my adult kids would understand cause I don't get to see them that much anyway due to their work schedules and busy lives and you know what they will go anywhere, so if they want to come visit me somewhere they can drive or fly . What I am trying to say instead of trying to babble is I would love to. My kids will adapt they want me to be happy and I intend to be. All this other stuff can be worked around. So my answer is yes I would love to travel with you." Amy said excitedly. Danny was so happy.' Oh wow, its gonna be great I promise...so what is gonna happen is  tomorrow morning, one of our cars will come by to get you at your house, and then they will bring you to the airport and drop you off with the rest of the guys significant others and then you will fly to meet us at our buses and board them. I was gonna wait till intermission to tell you but I thought i should tell you now cause I am excited and couldn't wait but also because. It will give enough time to pack and have someone watch the house. I will talk to you soon.I have to go now."  Danny said reluctant to hang up."Oh wow, I am so glad you called me now. I will be ready to go for sure...and if I forget anything I can probably buy it. Ok, have a great show, I will be thinking about you." Amy told him. "Ok, sweetheart. Talk to you later  I call you on intermission."Danny told her ."Alright bye for now."  'Bye." Amy said hanging up and making the arrangements she needed to make and then beginning to pack.
