Danny and Amy had been dating for several months and she had been on tour with him and he has continued to love her and be with her. She was the highlight of his life and he wanted to make it a little more permanent, He had asked her and her kids to move in with him in Florida and they gladly accepted. Miranda was with Donnie constantly as they navigated waters together. But for Danny there was something missing. He had been thinking long and hard on a few things and  needed to talk to Donnie about something. Danny went for a short walk along the beach while Amy was still asleep. he was looking out at the ocean and thinking. He picked up the phone and dialed Donnie's number. Donnie grumbled and answered. Danny heard his voice." Sorry man, I forgot  I am always up but I wanted to talk to you about something if I can."  Donnie said." It's ok man what do you need?  Danny took a deep breath." Ok, so you know how Amy and I have been seeing one another for awhile and we have moved in together? Well, Um...I was thinking of asking her to marry me.... i love her and she is all I have ever dreamed of and she loves me.She has proven that so many times. And I have talked to my dad about it and he agrees I should but I want to know your thoughts on it." Danny asked his friend.Donnie thought about and wanted to help his friend out." Danny, you love her, she loves you, you complete one another, You aren't getting any younger and you need to have someone, you have been alone for such a long time and this has been along time coming. So I think you should ask her. She is a good person, she is good for you, She cares so much for other people and she has done so many great things. She is living with you, your kids love her,her kids love you. Man make her yours forever. I haven't ever seen you as happy as you are when you're with her. It's time man." Donnie told him being totally serious.Danny laughed slightly.' Thanks man and yep you're right, about all of it, I am gonna go ring shopping the first chance I get and then I gotta come up with how I am gonna propose to her. I only hope she says yes. I mean she hasn't had the best experience in her past with love....but I hope she finds it to be different with me. And I can tell you now it won't be a long engagement...I want to marry this woman so I am only going for a few months as far as an engagement and then get married. I don't want none of this waiting a year crap after your engaged. I did that and look how it turned out. Anyway man I won't keep you I need to get back, she is probably wondering what happened to me cause I didn't think to leave her a note or a text. Thanks for the talk man and Sorry I woke you... I will let you know how it goes. Talk to you later." Danny told him." Alright, good luck Danny, yep let me know...bye! " Donnie said as he hung up. Danny went back to the house he saw a text on his phone from Amy wondering where he had gone off to... he got inside and Amy was in the shower. He went into the bathroom and said." Sorry baby, I went for walk on the beach. I didn't want to wake you. I hope you aren't to mad at me." Danny said hopeful.Amy waited a couple of seconds." No, I'm not mad but I was worried. Normally you leave me a note or something and I didn't see one if you did so I was starting to think maybe I should come looking for you... I'm glad you're back and you're ok... you are okay aren't you? Amy asked him." Yes baby, I'm ok I just needed to think about some things and clear my head. But it's ok and its nothing bad. I love you, and I needed to think of what a beautiful person I had in my life and hope that  I don't do anything to mess it up. I dont' ever want to do that and I fear that sometimes. Cause I can get to be a moody old man and I know we have had a couple of spats because of me but , as long as we can continue to own up to what we do and say were sorry then I know we will be alright." Danny said as he began stripping down. he stepped into the shower with her and began running his hands along her body."Can I wash you?"  Amy turned around and looked at him." Yes, you can wash me." She stood and allowed him to wash her and he was really turned on by it. So he bent her over and held her hips and he put himself inside and surged forward into the stars. Once they had finished. he washed her and washed her hair...and she washed him. They got done with the shower that had turned cold at that point and he gave her a towel and he took a towel and they dried off and got ready for the day. he loved this woman and he wanted the proposal to be the best one ever. he had to come up with something amazing and spectacular....and he had to figure out how he was going to get out of the house and go ring shopping without her noticing. He may need to have a little help from his kids or his dad....or something.  All he knew is he was gonna figure it all out really soon. he got dressed as did she. They fixed breakfast together and  everyone ate. he secretly texted  someone to enlist their help to keep Amy occupied so he could go ring shopping.He already asked her kids if it was ok to marry her and his kids were on board with it. Amy's phone went off. it was the person Danny  asked help from.Amy picked up her phone." Hey mom,  I was wondering if you wanted to go to an event with me called ladies day out." Megan asked."Uh sure sweetie but let me ask Danny if he has anything we need to do ok hold on." Amy put her on hold and asked Danny. 'Nope babe, I might go to the grocery store or  go run some errands but nothing big. I could go run errands then we can go to the store when you get back if you want. Up to you." Danny said acting like he knew nothing about it." Ok well Megan wanted to know if me and your girls and her sister wanted to go to this event down town called ladies day out and I told her I would go." Amy told him." Ok babe, thats fine.... you go on and have fun." Danny told her smiling. Amy got back o nthe phone and told her daughter she would go and she would pick her up since she had to bring her sister and Danny's girls along also and Daniel Jr wife,, and baby Rose. Soon Amy left to go to this event.Danny waited till she left and told her boys and Daniel Junior and his dad he was going ring shopping and they all wanted to go along with him. So they piled into his car and they headed to the mall. Where the nice jewelry stores were. Now all he had to do once he bought the ring was to come up with a great proposal. Him and the guys had lunch then they went to the jewelry store. Danny found the perfect ring for her. It was a silver, Marquise shaped Diamond, it had her birthstone on either side of it and  he knew she didn't want gold and he knew she didn't like anything gaudy so he hoped it was perfect. He told the clerk what size he needed and they actually had one there in her size. he asked the guys what they thought and they thought it was perfect.  Danny handed the clerk his card and was looking at wedding rings for himself to get an idea what he wanted. After the clerk took his card and  charged she put his ring in the box and then in a nice little bag. he didn't need anything else right now but  he saw a nice set of earrings and a necklace her thought about buying her to wear on the day of their wedding if she said yes. he got  the reciept and him and the guys went around the mall looking at everything. He found a few more things... to buy. Meanwhile the girls were having a great time at their event getting facials and pampering and different demonstrations of stuff. Amy was laughing with the girls."Danny gives way better back rubs then ANY of those people."  All of them began to laugh. megan smiled. Yeah chase does to. " Soon they were all talking and having alot of fun as were the guys. Danny and the guys went home after stopping at the grocery store and soon after Amy and her girls got home they had dropped Megan off at her house cause she needed to wait for chase to get home. Danny greeted her at the door." Did you ahve a great time babe?" Amy kissed his cheek and placed her hand on the opposite one and  looked into his beautiful brown eyes." Yes I did babe, thank you."  Danny covered the hand that she had on his face and kissed her palm."Good...I love you." Danny said sweetly as they all sat down for some family time before the others had to go home.
