Where OH Where Could She Be?

Danny was pacing the floor and he took the ring and looked at it for awhile and he got pretty sad he sat on the edge of the bed and cried. He sobbed really hard cause he was both upset at her for leaving and worried about her, cause he didn't know if she was ok and he really didn't want her going through this alone. He was also mad at himself for getting after her like he did..he just loved her so much that he didn't want anything bad to happen to her and he wouldn't have been able to bear it if she had cancer like his mother and  he lost her. He was at least a little a little relieved when he found out she was pregnant. But wow, that meant he was gonna be a father again. It was finally hitting him. He was a 50 year old man and gonna be a dad again. He would be in his late 60's  when his child graduated from high school. But he did always want at least one more child. And boy was he getting his wish now and at least it was with the woman of his dreams, he wished he had met her first and the other kids he had would be with her and he probably wouldn't be divorced. But it worked out for the best. Now he was suppose to be engaged and because he couldn't control his emotions and yelled at her  just for trying to spare him the pain and worry then she felt like a burden to him and she thought she would ruin his reputation. Hell he didn't care if it did. If his fans couldn't accept the fact that he was gonna be married again and that he was gonna be a father again then they weren't true fans and he knew some would be hateful and mad. but Oh well, He didn't plan to stay single all his life only dating around only to find duds just to please his fans. He did all that onstage and at the meet and greets. He wiped his eyes and laid on the bed and thought about how he was gonna make it up to her. He had to find her first.... and  he knew who he had to call. He called Donnie and asked him if he could ask Miranda if she had talked to Amy. So Donnie handed the phone to Miranda and she talked to Danny. Danny filled her in on everything." No, I haven't talked to her either, and that isn't like her not to at least get a hold of one of us, I may have to try to call her and talk to her. I can't believe you got after her and I can't believe she tried to keep symptoms away from you. She does it cause she doesn't want anyone to worry about her but that's to bad cause she is loved and we are gonna worry about her. Hopefully  her kids or you or I can get in touch with her and find out where she is."  "She really has me worried now.Anyway thanks Miranda and yes please if you do hear from her let me know.Talk to you later." Danny said hanging up and worrying even more.She had everyone worried about her. Danny tried calling the authorities but they said they couldn't do a missing persons till 24 hours after the person went missing. Danny sighed... he laid on the bed and cried some more and said to himself." Dammit baby where are you? Meanwhile 2 hours away in the Marriott hotel Amy was in her room crying. She felt hopeless and she didn't know what to do. She was confused, she loved Danny but she didn't want him to have to worry about her to along with other things he had to do. She laid on the bed and the song "Somewhere out there came on and  it made her cry harder. Her phone ringing brought her out of her thoughts she looked at it and saw it was Miranda. She didn't answer it she wasn't into answering phone calls or texts right now. She might call or text her kids later but right now she wanted to be alone so she could think. Soon she cried herself to sleep on the bed. Danny was looking at the ring again and he tucked it safely away as he said his prayers and prayed Amy was safe and that she would come back to him and they could all resume being a family. He wanted to elope so they could just be married right away he wasn't into all that waiting and didn't care if it was fancy. He just wanted her and their unborn child, he  was thinking of ways to get her back.... then he hugged her pillow and fell into a restless but deep sleep. All the kids were really worried they didn't hear anything from their mom and they were wondering how come  she didn't text them. How dare she worry them also. It just wasn't fair to them. They were hoping to let her have her time she needed and prayed they would hear from her tomorrow. They all went to sleep as well in their homes. Dan senior worried also he liked Amy she was good for her son. He hoped that this relationship could be saved and that his son could be happy once and for all. he finally had someone to love and it slipped away... he hoped it was temporary. Dan senior fell asleep as well. 2 days had past and still no one heard from Amy, which brought on more worry and the kids were trying to do anything to help their dad and finally Amy reached out to someone. She had called one of her kids and told them where she was and that she was alright. And she was sorry that she didn't get a hold of them sooner but she had to think. They told her how mad they were about it and she agreed they had a right to be. And they knew what happened and that Danny was really torn up about it. Amy felt bad that Danny was torn up and she began to think more about it. She talked to her kids more and then hung up. Amy's older son called Danny. "Hey man this is Chris, I just talked to mom, I told her how mad we were that she didn't tell us where she was and all...and she said she is staying at a hotel about 2 hours from here in a town called Madison City... She is at the Marriott, I figured you might want to know...I know how much you love her and you wanted to find her. So good luck I hope this helps." Danny grinned into the phone." Oh man thank you, thank you so much for letting me know dude..and yes I do love her. More then I knew i could ever love anyone. I need to pack a bag and get on the road before it gets to be heavy traffic and there is a traffic jam. I hope by tomorrow I will be bringing her home. Danny said gratefully as he ended the call. Danny packed his stuff enough for a night and grabbed the ring so that they could resume where they left off. And he knew exactly how he was gonna make it up to her for the way he acted. He got into his car and left to head to the hotel in Madison City. Amy was taking her shower and she ran her hand down to her abdomen and rubbed it she couldn't believe she was gonna be a mom again at her age but she didn't mind she was ready for it.She finished her shower and went out into the room to watch  tv.  2 hours later Danny pulled into the Marriott in Madison City... he got out and went inside. He asked at the desk where room number 424 was and the lady at the desk told him. He went to the elevators and got off and headed to the room he knocked on the door and Amy wondered why room service was coming...she didn't order any right now. She got up off the bed to go to the door to tell them."I didn't order any room... She opened the door and saw Danny standing there. "What are you doing here and how did you know where to find me? Amy asked him. Danny looked at her he was still so upset that she took off. "Thankfully one of your children like me enough and believe in us being together enough to tell me where you were." Danny said as he walked into the room." I didn't want you to be worrying about me, and I didn't want you to worry about the burden of being a dad again. You gotta big job and an important one and I don't want anyone hating on you because of me." Amy told him."Yeah, well surprise you did worry me anyway by leaving and not telling anyone where you were going. How could you do that to me? I know you were trying to 'spare' me from my reputation being ruined and I see your point behind it....but if people hate on me because I love you and because I am happy, then that is their hang up and their life is probably really miserable. I don't care if I lost everything tomorrow....as long as I have you and our family I would be just fine. Did you fucking think I wouldn't worry? Did you fucking think I wouldn't care what happens to you? Danny asked upset." I'm sorry for worrying you ok, I had to get away and think after  we argued and I felt like I was a burden to you and you had enough things to worry about then dealing with me....so I was trying to do what I thought was the right thing and you would never have to see me again. And that would be once less thing for you. You were upset cause I didn't tell you about my symptoms and you had a right to be. But again I thought I was making things easier on you.' Amy said back.Danny had a tear running down his cheek."No baby, none of that helped me, it hurt me to the core and my heart was about to shatter again and if I would have never found you it would have stayed shattered cause I wouldn't and couldn't be happy with anyone else but you, Don't you get it? You are my everything, you are the light in my darkness, you and my kids and your kids saved me from so many things. You complete me and now so will this little baby you are carrying. I did always want another baby....I just didn't think it would be so late in life. But my dad really put it all into perspective for me. I'm not old and neither are you. We are gonna raise this baby together as a family...I want us to still be married and I would rather elope...I talked to the kids and they said they were fine with that and we could do a huge party later. I am really sorry for  yelling at you but please don't ever keep anything from me again. And I won't from you.No matter how bad you think it is or how you think you might ruin anything. NOTHING is as important as family. And I know you feel that way to. So please forgive me and marry me! Danny told her. Amy listened to what all he said then Danny  got out his phone and played a song. He hoped the lyrics of the song would help shed light on things and show her how truly sorry he was. He played the song for her." It was Down on Bended Knee" by Boyz 2 men. Danny took her in his arms and danced with her and sang it to her. Once it was over Amy was crying and Danny was down on his knee once again. Amy, I love you and I don't ever want us to be apart. You are my everything. Please say yes again to marrying me." Danny looked at her and was hopeful. She looked into his beautiful brown eyes and smiled and cried." Yes Danny, I will marry you and this time Im not going anywhere, i  love you, and  I want us to do everything together.' Danny had tears streaming down his face and hugged her.: You bet baby, everything together... I love you. Then he put the ring back on her finger and kissed her. He decided they were gonna spend the night at that hotel and go back home in the morning. (to be continued in the next part.)
