I raced to Where Tak was waiting
"That Crillinarian almost killed me," I told her.
Tak nodded. "We need to start your training as soon as possible.
"Why bother? I can teach you everything you need to know." I spun around to see a girl standing there. Her blue hair was tied into a long flowing ponytail with purple streaks in it. Her face was flawless with eyes the color of sapphires. She wore topaz armor that fit her shapely body so well that it was as though it had melted onto her body.
"Who are you?" I asked in wonder.
Tak glared at her. "Laloc," she said.
Laloc? Where did I hear that name before? Then it suddenly hit me. It was in the story Tak had told me. She was the one who turned against the Zerons and caused their downfall.
I pointed at her and cried, "You're the one who betrayed the Zerons!"
Laloc frowned, obviously she did not like what I just said.
She looked over to Tak. "Is that what you've been telling her? That I betrayed the Zerons"
"You have betrayed the Zerons," Tak hollered, shaking her fist.
"And yet, you were the one who was forsaking by your own Zeron Crystal." Laloc gestured over to me. "Then you con this poor simple-minded girl into taking your place."
"I'm not a girl," I protested.
"Okay, then, this simple-minded young woman," Laloc corrected herself.
"But--" I tried to explain, but Tak interrupted me.
"What do you want, Laloc?" she demanded.
"From you, nothing. I'm not here for you." Laloc turned to me. "I'm here for her!"
"What do you want of me?" I wanted to know.
"I want you to have dinner with me."
I stared at her. "What?"
Laloc gazed down at her wrist. She was wearing the same kind of bracelet as Tak. She tapped it with her index finger as she murmured, "Is the universal translator working correctly?" She then looked at me and began talking slow, emphasizing each syllable as she made hand gestures as though I was a moron. "I...WANT...YOU... TOO...HAVE...DIN...NER...WITH...ME!"
"You're not going to poison me, are you?" I asked.
Laloc rolled her sapphire eyes. "Don't be idiotic. Why would I invite you onto my ship just to do away with you?"
"She's not going anywhere with you," Tak said defiantly.
Laloc glared at her. "Fine, then I will keep sending Crillinarians to Earth until she agrees to have dinner with me."
"If I agree to have dinner with you do you promise not to send any more Crillinarians to Earth?" I asked.
Tak looked as though she was about to object, then thought better of it.
Laloc turned to me. "So you do have some intelligence after all," she said, amused. "Okay, I'd give you my word of honor that no Crillinarian would set foot on Earth until you have dinner with me."
She then placed a hand under my chin and gazed into my eyes. Then to my shock, she leaned forward and pressed her soft lips against mine, and kissed me. Not a simple kiss, but a long steamy kiss.
Laloc then drew herself back. I was too stunned to even react. This was the first time I've ever been kissed by a girl. At least with so much passion.
Laloc then said as though nothing had happened, "We make the dinner tomorrow at eight 'o'clock Earth time." She held out a small cube with a button on it. "Push this button around that time and you would be teleported onto my ship." She shoved the cube into my hand.
Laloc stepped back and was about to push a button on her bracelet, then paused. "One more thing," she said to me. "The Zerons always dress for dinner, so wear something pretty." She pressed a button on her bracelet and was teleported away.
I could still taste her sweet lipstick upon my lips. I slowly turned to Tak. "W-what just happened?" I asked.
Tak stared back at me and shrugged.
