Chapter 10: Secret Project

I turned back into a boy and asked Tak to teleport me to the boys' bathroom at school.

Once I was in the bathroom I went straight to the sink and began washing off Laloc's lipstick. When I go back to class I have to explain to Mrs. Stermin why I was so late getting back from the bathroom. I thought it'd be best if I didn't show up with lipstick on my face.

Now tomorrow night I'm going to be having dinner with Laloc. Laloc the leader of the Crillinarians. The Enemy. I wondered if this was like a date. Should I bring her flowers?

Nah, with the way Laloc suddenly kissed me, then acted as though it was no big deal she was more likely to bring me flowers.

I wondered was all the women on her planet were that forward. What were the men on her planet were like. Assuming that there were men on her planet. I mean, just because all the Zeron Warriors were women did not mean that their planet was void of any male life. It would be sexist of me to think otherwise.

To make things even more complicated for me Laloc expected me to wear a dress. Where the heck was I going to get a dress?

Well, she did not exactly say dress. She just said to wear something pretty. I wondered if Laloc would believe me if I wore ripped jeans and a baseball jacket and told her that this was how all girls on Earth dressed on dates.

I went over to get my book bag from where I have hidden it behind the toilet. When I opened the stall I saw that it was gone. Someone had taken it. That was all I need. To lose my bookbag.

The only thing I could do was stop at the school office and hope that someone had turned it into the lost and found.

I left the bathroom and ran into Debra who was standing outside the door.

"I believe this belongs to you," she said as she held up MY Bookbag.

"Thanks," I said, taking my book bag from her. "Where did you find it?"

"Where you've left it."

Where I've left it? If she found it behind the toilet that would mean she had been in the boys' room. What was Debra doing in the boys' room?

Debra was still staring at me. "I saw you going into the boys' bathroom today," she said.

"You saw that?"

"Yes, I did.  And a minute later I saw Zeronia coming out. I thought that maybe she did something to you, so I went into the bathroom only to find you nowhere in sight and your bookbag crammed behind a toilet. What's going on with you, Toby?"

I could have made up a lie. Instead, I growled, "You're so smart you figure it out!"

Debra narrowed her eyes. "Toby, are you Zeronia?"

I laughed. "That's ridiculous!" I threw my bookbag over my shoulder and walked off in a huff.

Little Miss Know-It-All thought she had everything all figured out. The most annoying part was, she had. At least she could never prove it.

Debra P.O.V

I stood there as I watched Toby storm off.

I have to admit, I didn't expect him to tell me the truth when I confronted him. But if he thought he was going to get rid of me that easy, well then he did not know Debra Wilton.

If he was not going to come clean with me, then I would wait until school was over and follow him.

Toby P.O.V

Mrs. Stermin kept me an hour after school for coming back from the bathroom so late.

When I finally got to go home I got another call from Tak on my wand. She said that she has a surprise for me and she wanted to meet me and that I should bring Judy.
