The Other Evans

Chapter 1

Chapter 1:

Lily Evans- A Lie?

They were having a blast. The Marauders and the other Gryffindors. James had managed to convince this mother to let him throw a party at home, two nights before they would return to Hogwarts for their seventh year. Nobody knew how, not even James himself, he had managed to convince Lily Evans to come. He had just been able to do something impossible, something that never had happened before.

The party was about to reach the next level when Lily came over to them.

,,Hi Evans'' James said a bit nervous at her. Unlike the other guests (who were all show-offing) Lily was wearing causal clothes, some jeans, a bright yellow T-shirt and, as always, she looked stunning.

,,Hi Potter." She replied sweetly ,,Look, thanks for inviting me, but I got to go, okay?"

James nodded.

,,Well, bye Potter. It was a lovely party"

And with that Lily started approaching the chimney. As they watched her fight her way thought the crowd, Sirius suddenly clapped his hands together.

,,I've got an idea!" Remus frowned; Sirius ideas were mostly illegal, forbidden or dangerous ,,We are going to follow Evans, that way Prongs will know were she lives so he can visit her!"

Remus looked in shock: ,,You can't just follow somebody into their house! Besides, who know when we will be able to return?"

Sirius waved it off: ,,As soon as we've seen the location we will apparate back. "

Remus wanted to protest, but they didn't give him a chance. James took his invisibility cloak out, threw it over them and they followed Evans. She entered the chimney ( they followed, cursing the lack of space) and threw the Floo Powder in it while muttering something. Immediately they started turning around fast. When it stopped they saw a little living room with a couch and that muggle thing named TV.

The Marauders were surprised when Lily, instead of walking as gracefully as always out of the chimney, she walked in a very...not lady-like way.The boys stood under the cloak, a bit surprised. Two figures were sitting on the couch. One was a girl who was identical to Evans, that was reading and the other one was a girl with tiny blue eyes and blonde hair that was watching the TV.

,,You!" Lily screeched ,,What are you doing here?"

The redhead girl looked hurt at her and, without saying another word except: ,,I am going to see Sev" she grabbed her book and walked on the way to the door.

,,Nice cloak" She mumbled as she walked past them, making all the Marauders open their mouth in surprise.

,,She's going to what?"

Lily asked the blonde one threatingly.

,,She's going to see the freak-ex-friend of yours" She replied. ,,I want to talk to you, Lily" She added with the same amount of venom that Lily had used at the other girl.

,,Talk to me, older sister? What do you want to talk to a freak like me about?" Lily was very angry

,,Jasmine! She is not only my sister, you know? She is your twin sister! And you have been treating her like scum since the day you were born! You would hit her, bite her and you're jealous of her. And I am sick of seeing you hurt her!" The Marauders exchanged confused looks ,,You're so jealous, that you even have copied her eye colour! You may have tricked mom and dad, but Jas and I know you since always, we know that your true eye colour is blue, that your hair is not even half as long as it looks like!"

James couldn't believe what he was hearing; everything he had fallen in love about her was false?

Lily rolled her eyes: ,,Please, jealous...Me? Of a girl that was expelled of nine schools? She went to literarily every school except for Hogwarts and who knows how long she will last at Beauxbatons! If I was her, I would have killed myself"

Sirius seemed impressed that she had been expelled out of nine schools.

,,How do you dare!"

Lily took her wand out and pointed it at Petunia:

,,Stupefy! Crucio! Incendio!"

She yelled. Fire was just going to reach the girl when an angry voice said:

,,Protego"

The fire disappeared and the red haired girl, apparently Jasmine was helping Petunia up.

,,Are you alright Tuney?"

Petunia nodded, scared.

,,What do you think you are doing?"

Another angry voice sided them. Severus Snape (James biggest enemy) was standing at the door. Lily froze when he pointed his wand at her and muttered:

,,Expelliarmus"

He catched her wand and gave it Jasmine, who thanked him.

,,Who do you think you are, Lily Evans? You used an unforgivable curse! Against your own sister! You are an idiot to be put in Azkaban!"

She shouted. Now it was Lilys turn to seem scared. The girl turned around while patting Petunia's back, mouthing Snape a 'thanks' and glaring at Lily, who immediatly left to her room.

,,As to you" Jasmine whispered to the boys ,,leave"
