Chapter 3:

Meeting My First Friend

Jasmine was walking in the Beauxbaton corridors, her blue uniform trim and proper, a letter from Tuney (they always would send each other as many letters as possible) in the hand, and thinking. Just thinking. About the behavior of her sister. Deep down she loved Lily, but she had always treated her unfairly, with hatred in her voice. She had always stolen everything she had. Even with Severus. Jasmine remembered perfectly well they day she had met him.

Flashback

Jasmine was in the park, reading, when she felt being watched. She looked around but only saw Lily (who was show-offing her abilities to Petunia) and Petunia, who was looking boringly at Lily. Suddenly Lily flied. Literally flied.Like in the movies. Caught off guard Jasmine gasped:

,,That was so cool Lily!" she exclaimed. Lily glared at her

,,You only say that because you're jealous"

Jasmine was confused; why should she be jealous?

,,Mum said you shouldn't do that! How did you do it?"

Petunia asked her, scolding. Lily threw her a glare, which didn't surprise them; she had always been bossy and mean to them, seeming to think she was some sort of Queen or so.

,,I, other than you, can concentrate, so that's what I did."

Jasmine looked at her book and placed it on the grass. Then she imagined it flying around the entire park and opening at the first page. Incredibly, it worked. Jasmine was beaming

,,Look Lily! I can do it too!"

Lily snorted at her little twin sister.

,,Good for you"

Sarcasm fell off her voice.

,,How do you do it?"

Tuney repeated.All of the sudden, a boy with greasy black hair and way to big robes for him, stepped out of the shadows.

,,I know how you do it"

He stattet. Curious, Jasmine looked at him and asked

,,How?"

He blushed

,,You're witches. And I am a wizard"

Lily glared at the boy: ,,Do you think that is something nice to say to a girl? Sisters, we are going!"

,,You can't boss us around, Lily!" Tuney exclaimed, but Lily was already dragging her back to their house, leaving the boy and Jasmine alone.

,,I believe you"

,,Really?" He was surprised

,,Of course, I don't see why I shouldn't! Besides, I can't find a way to explain this without the word 'magic'. What's your name?"

He seemed even more surprised

,,Did I say something wrong?" She asked a bit worried. He shook his head:

,,It's just that nobody asks me ever. They think I'm some creep that walks around there"

Jasmine rolled her eyes: ,,Well, they're stupid. I don't think you're a creep. So, what's' your name? I am Jasmine Evans. Friends?"

She offered him her hand, smiling. The boy smiled as well and took it

,,My name is Severus Snape. Friends"

End of Flashback.

Everything had worked out perfectly; Jasmine had now a male friend, who told her everything about the wizard in world, letting her impressed and she could go to him whenever she was sick of Lily. After a year of friendship Jasmine finally managed to convince Petunia to befriend him as well, and back then they were an inseparable trio. But then, Lily came. Around Severus she would behave like a little angel and somehow, managed to raise a wall between him and Tunney (Luckily that wall had broken the day Lily used the Cruciatus curse, but now Petuniai was very scared of wizards). Then, their school letters arrived and Jasmine was very surprised to see that she had received eleven, instead of one. Severus had insisted on that it was, because she was more talented than other witches and that he was sure that never ever had gotten that many.

That day, an old man named Albus Dumbledore had explained everything to the Evans' family and left a little shock for their parents. Eventually (after Lily's manipulating methods) her parents had decided that she should start going to a japan one, named , which she enjoyed very much, but made a prank go to far and got expelled, but allowed to end her first year. That's how she leaned Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, Swedish and many other languages as she got sent from one school to another.

In all this time, she sent Tuney and Sev daily letters, talking about their lifes and that type of things. She had not returned to her home since she was eleven, so it was no surprise that Lily had been shocked. Jasmine had been happy to hear when Sev ended their friendship; as much as she (very deep down) loved her sister, she didn't want Sev to get in trouble, seeing how fake she was.

Jasmine snapped out of her memories and gracefully walked to her Transfigurations class; she had planned an awesome prank, but she may could get expelled again. And then, her only option would be Hogwarts. With Severus. And Lily. Hogwarts was, as previously mentioned, her last school to attend, and Jasmine really wanted to go.

She entered the classroom and sat down, smirking; now she only had to wait.
