Chapter 7:

The Day It All Began

Jasmine had only been at Hogwarts for a few hours and she already loved it. The enchanted ceiling at the Great Hall, giving you the impression that there wasn't a ceiling, the lovely warmth and yummy food, the friendly ghosts and the happy atmosphere; everything was marvelous. You would never guess there was a war going on with the cheeriness aura in there.

The only thing she wasn't such a fan of, was, as you can probably guess, Lily. During the entire night she had been sending glares at her and hissing mean things in her ear, but Jasmine did her best to ignore it. She knew that Lily was trying to make her crack under pressure.

The thing was, as I mentioned before, Jasmine loved her sister. She had always admired the confidence her sister held and often wished to be like her. When she went to a friend's house, their siblings would always get along and be best friends. In her books the siblings were best friends and in the movies. Why couldn't she be friends with her twin sister then? As far as she knew, twins normally had a better relationship than normal siblings. Why wasn't it that way with her?

Jasmine cursed the day Lily started really despising her, as Lily had always been jealous of her, yet, at first she hadn't treated or talked to her that way.

It had been a sunny day when it happened. Even in the years after Jasmine didn't really understand why something so stupid had broke them, but it was probably because that day Lily reached her limit. They had sports lesson, and that day's game was Football. Jasmine had always been a model student, getting perfect grades, in everything but sports. There she was...decent.

The sisters were put in the same team and after fifteen minutes, they were losing 8-2. Jasmine just wasn't good at football. The only muggle sport she was good at, was Volleyball. Later, at Mahoukotoro, she would discover her talent for Quidditch, but she still had three years of muggle school and no idea of magic. Surprising everyone, Lily scored eight goals more, and they won. Normally, people would have cheered for her, but instead, they cheered for Jasmine. Somehow they had managed to mistake her for Lily (even if Lily's hair was more ginger coloured, shorter and she had blue eyes) and now they were celebrating.

Jasmine had tried to explain that it hadn't been her, but nobody had listened. Lily had started crying and that had been the first time she yelled at her.

,,You foul, b*tch!" She had said ,,You evil copycat!" Normally, she wouldn't have exploded like that, but Lily apparently had been holding her fury back for very long and such a little thing, had made her explode.

And that had only been the start. She had managed to send Jasmine to any school except for Hogwarts and jump into her identity.

But that would soon change. As soon as the other girls would start befriending Jasmine.
