Author's Note:
Hiiiiii!! Ofc as promised, I'll be grinding for some oneshots as I try to regain my will to have a quality chapter for Mammon. And this'll be lengthy and somehow... angsty (bc bitch wants her readers to feel ultra despair, haha get it?)
So yeah.. Speaking of despair, I've been conflicting myself whether to love or hate Nagito. Tbh, he shocked me a lot after I finished the first chapter of DR2.
TW: The story will contain hints of self destruction and indirect self harming. Please read according to your own discretion.
Anywho, let's just proceed to this story, shall we?

The days were falling short until Y/N's completion of the student exchange program held by Diavolo himself. Fortunately, the sad remarks tainted on each of the demon brothers regarding her departure were soon fading away out of a sudden announcement that excites them. Because of her exquisite performance within RAD's premises, the odds gave her the privilege to choose a prestigious university from among the realms to continue the rest of her curriculum and graduate. The opportunity led her to choose her new home, Devildom, where she only felt the love she never experienced in her world. Bliss was the only one resided within her memories with the brothers who gave her the familial love she once craved for.
...but people indeed get tired of the same routine; feeling of being fed up little by little as time passes by. Maybe mere annoyance and disappointments here and there - a couple of reasons one could think of in this situation.
In Y/N's case, she gradually began to be a nuisance and someone who feeds on too much attention to exhaust someone. Three months before the exciting news of her (sort of) permanent stay turned into something dull - like a knife being slowly eaten by rust until it was of no use anymore.
Her smiles that once lifted their spirits now seemed to anger them even by just the thought of it. Presence of hers now appeared transparent and like a thinning ice. Non-existent and invisible. Nonetheless, their actions had not scarred her angelic heart yet. And with the verbal harm casted on to her would always be repaid by her glee, despite her wanting to burst into tears. Although deep within her she wanted to do the same to everyone wherein she'll never see nor hear anyone anymore. She'd feel dead in spite of being alive.
"Hiiiii, Luci! I brought you coffee, the usual classic roast of melancholy." Her voice echoed all over the eldest's study. "I made it extraaa demon hot, so it'll taste greater."
And on the other hand, the man was evidently overworked with all the mountainous paper works given to him by his superior. Bags from his eyes began to show and the constant yawning did not go unnoticed by the lass. She put it down right in front of him, not giving up to smile as she thought it'd be their energizer.
Well it was...
"Take the coffee with you, I don't need it."
The lass did not flinch after the constant distancing of everyone; merely, she already got used to it. So she shrugged it off and insisted with her worries.
"Do you need any help, Luci? That's really a lot of-"
"I don't need your help here. Just leave."
"Can you please at least take a coffee break? I'm reaaally worrie-"
"WHAT PART OF 'I DON'T NEED YOUR HELP' THAT YOU DIDN'T UNDERSTAND?"
Lucifer slammed before his hand picked up the cup to splash its contents to the girl that was now startled, wincing in pain as she felt her skin melting with the inhumanly temperature of the coffee she prepared. But she did not cry nor complain about it.
