ATSUMU POV

I hadn't moved a step forwards nor backwards but Y/N had bumped into me. They were shaking, brushing up against my chest. I quickly lifted my hands around them, holding them in a hug.

"W-why... Why is he here?" I heard them whisper. I stared across at the man we called our father as he slowly walked towards us. Y/N was shivering, shaking. I wasn't able to say anything. I wasn't sure what to say.

"Hello..." He said, stopping in place. Neither of us answered. I kept my eye on him making sure he wasn't moving any closer. Maybe I was a bit scared or maybe I was just worried. Worried about Y/N.

Considering what had happened barely a day ago seeing him right now wouldn't be the best thing ever. Although I wasn't controlling what I was doing I was still doing it. Wrapping my arms around Y/N, holding them close, keeping my eyes on my father.

"Stay there." I said sternly. I was not about to let a man who watched our mother die and left us alone, come near Y/N or myself. "We wouldn't want anything to happen to-." He started.

"No!" Y/N yelled blocking out who he was talking about. "Hey, hey, relax..." I whispered bending my head down to their level slightly. "Leave him... Alone..." They whispered, biting their lip tightly.

Pulling them closer to myself and farther away from him I looked around trying to look for a way to walk away. Out of the corner of my eye I could see a figure appear, Kita. "Let's go now, Y/N." I whispered turning to walk away.

"Where'd you think yer going?" A loud shout called. I stopped but continued to push Y/N away, if anything I didn't want her to be near him. Their feet dragged against the floor as if willing me not to make them leave.

"Y/N, go." I muttered pushing them harder then before. Again, their feet dragged along the floor giving the man behind us time to walk towards us. I could hear a faint sound of footsteps growing closer.

He was clearly coming closer to us but Y/N just wasn't moving. Who was he talking about earlier that made her yell like that? Did something happen the last time they met? They've been acting strange since they woke up, so maybe.

"Please Y/N. Go." I mumbled taking a quick look back. He was around a meter away from us and could probably reach us within a second. My head shot back to the (H/C)-haired teenager struggling to stay in place.

As I shook Y/N, trying to get her to mover forward, I felt a hand on my shoulder. I immediately jumped and assumed that it was him. I twisted around but saw that it wasn't him but rather Kita. He must have passed us by and stood between father and I.

Y/N, who noticed my sudden movement, had stopped struggling and was now looking a Kita and I. They weren't struggling but were clinging to my hand. Where's Osamu when you need him?

I'm useless when it comes to anything with feelings. Especially with Y/N. They'd always been the one to help me so something like this never really happens. If anything Osamu would be the one to deal with this still although I don't think it's ever been this big before.

Osamu... Osamu... I just wanted to shout out his name and go beat him up. Why isn't he here? Doesn't he care about me and Y/N? Imma kill him when I see him. As I looked around I could see an emergency exit that was, conveniently, wide open.

"Y/n." I muttered shoving her towards the emergency exit as well as grabbing Kita and pulling him as well. Both Kita and Y/N grunted and disagreed before finally noticing where I was pushing them.

As I pushed them towards the emergency I hesitated before following. I'm not sure why I hesitated but for some reason I had to look back at him. The man that for so many years we called our father we were now running away from him.

It didn't feel... Right.
