Kirishima's POV

I gently touched my neck and winced at the burning pain. I knew I shouldn't had touched him, but I thought he was over that, since we were, quote unquote, 'boyfriends' now.

I examined the new burn mark on my neck. Honestly, it wasn't too bad. It only hurt when I touched it, and you could hardly see the red mark. I just needed an ice pack or something...

I padded out of the bathroom and down the stairs, looking at the ground so I could avoid eye contact with Bakugo. There's nothing more awkward then making eye contact with someone you're mad at.

As I shuffled downstairs, I froze as I noticed Bakugo's limp body laying on the floor. I quickly rushed over and said, "Bakugo?"

There was no response. I fell to my knees next to him and covered my open mouth with my shaking hand.

Something was terribly wrong with his neck. I couldn't see much through the thick layer of blood, but I knew something bad had happened while I was gone. The sticky blood covered Bakugo's fingers and made a small pool on the floor. Bakugo himself was unconscious, and his breathing was so shallow that for a moment I thought he wasn't breathing at all.

I fumbled for my phone and shakily dialed 911.

"911, what is your emergency?" A female voice said.

"M-my friend... I-I don't know what happened..." I said, the shock beginning to set in. I placed a hand on Bakugo's arm and just stared at him.

"Sir, calm down, are you in danger?" She said.

"N-no," I managed to say. "I-I don't know what happened but I left the room and... Bakugo?"

He started to convulse, which scared me so bad that I scooted away from him, my eyes filling with tears. I felt so helpless. Bakugo could be dying and I was just stammering to some lady on the phone instead of taking action.

"Sir, are you there?" The lady said.

"Y-yeah," I said. "Oh gosh, I think he's having a seizure..."

"Sir, stay on the line with me," she said. "Can you give me your address?"

I gave her Bakugo's address and stayed on the phone with her, still staring at the shaking Bakugo.

My hands wouldn't stop shaking. We went over drills like this at school, and I thought I was prepared, but now that it was actually happening, I had no idea what to do. Especially because it was happening to my best friend, my boyfriend, the one guy I actually had really deep feelings for.

"Okay, sir, I've sent an ambulance your way," she said. "Can you tell me what happened?"

"W-well, he burned me..." I trailed off for a second before saying loudly, "O-on accident, of course! Anyways, s-so I was in the bathroom and I came back down and he was bleeding from his neck and he just had a s-seizure I think..."

"Okay, thank you, sir," she said. "Would you mind stating your name and age?"

"E-Eijiro Kirishima, I'm 16," I stuttered, looking up as I faintly heard the sirens from an ambulance.

"And your friend?"

"Katsuki Bakugo, he's 16 also."

I quickly checked up on Bakugo. He hadn't woken up but his seizure was over, which was good.

"Thank you, sir. You're doing a wonderful job of waiting."

"No, thank you," I said, letting out a nervous laugh. "I-I'm supposed to be training to be a hero but I freaked out when this happened... thanks for your help..."
