Kirishima's POV
I kept sending glancing towards the ash-blond boy as I sat criss crossed on Kaminari's bed. He looked worse than I did. What had happened to him?
He kept looking up at Kaminari or Sero, but never once did he look at me. It kinda bothered me.
"Is it okay that I brought Bakugo here?" Sero asked.
"Bruh, you know he can hear you," Kaminari said flatly.
"He doesn't have his hearing aids in," Sero and I said at the same time.
"Oh," Kaminari said. "I mean, I guess it's okay... As long as he doesn't blow anything up! Also, what the f*** is wrong with his hands?"
I looked down at Bakugo's hands. They were clenched into fists, but I noticed the lines of stream escaping from the cracks in his hands.
"I dunno, maybe he's just sweaty," Sero said, shrugging.
Kaminari mumbled something about Bakugo's explosions, then went silent.
"Anyways, I wanted to tell you guys something about Bakugo," Sero said, looking dead serious.
I immediately sat up straighter. It wasn't every day that Sero was serious.
"So he tried to jump off his balcony-" he started flatly.
I jumped up, my eyes wide. A million feelings filled me, but the strongest one was worry, and guilt. "HE WHAT?!" I exclaimed, looking down at Bakugo.
He had noticed my sudden movement and had looked up at me, and now, our eyes met. He quickly looked away though, which made me angry.
I grumbled curses through my clenched teeth, hopped off the bed, grabbed Bakugo's arm, and dragged him out of the room.
As soon as I shut the door, I pinned him against the wall and said, "What the f*** did you do?"
He looked... scared. I was just pissed off that he would even try to do something like that. I was even more pissed at myself. It was probably my fault he had tried to jump.
"Let me go," he said, his voice cracking as he tried to push me away by the shoulder with his hand.
I pulled back slightly, my anger fading a little. He covered his mouth with his hand, and I noticed the tears gathered in his eyes.
"What's going on?" I asked, my tone softer.
"You know exactly what's going on," he spat out, squirming his way out of my grip.
I grabbed ahold of his hand and pinned him against the wall again. "No, I don't."
"Y-you hate me..."
All of the traces of anger I had before abruptly disappeared. I just stared at him as he stood there, trying to hold in his tears.
"Bakugo, I don't hate you—"
"Yes you do!" He said, shoving me away roughly and making me stumble back. "I'm the reason you look like complete sh**! All I do is hurt you, I don't know why the f*** you're still trying to help me!"
He wiped his tear-drenched face with his shaky hands and tried to breathe. I tapped him under the chin and blushed dusted his face as he looked at me.
"I don't hate you," I said. "Just because I look like this and you're upset doesn't mean I hate you."
I spread my arms and he just stared at me with his watering crimson eyes. Then he just weakly shook his head and bolted down the hallway.
I swore under my breath and ran after him, seeing him take the stairs down to the common's area. I quickly followed and found him running into the boy's bathroom.
