Kirishima's POV

"Get your hero costumes on, I'll explain what's going on in the car," Aizawa shouted at us, pointing at the building.

I followed the other five students into the building and I went into the boy's locker room, quickly throwing on my hero suit and not giving a d*** about what my hair looked like.

I rushed back outside and hopped into the black limo, anxiously bouncing my leg as I waited for the others to arrive.

Finally, when everyone was there, Aizawa shifted the car out of park and zoomed off, following the multitudes of flashing red and blue lights.

"I decided to bring the five of you along because you were all present in the last rescue for Bakugo," Aizawa explained, making a hard right and causing everyone to bump into each other.

The seatbelt was itchy against my bare chest, and I wanted to rip it off but I didn't trust Aizawa's driving skills enough to do that.

"Because of the quick thinking of Bakugo, we're now tracking his location," he said. "You five will be tasked in backup. You follow behind the pro heroes and the police, except for Kirishima and Midoriya."

He briefly took his eyes off the road to look back at me and the green-haired boy. "Because you both have been through a work study and went through Eri's rescue, I'm allowing only you two to be up with the pro heroes. You two will help fight the villains, and if you can, help save Bakugo."

"Yes, sir," we all said.

Suddenly, a huge explosion of blue flames erupted in front of us, and the car turned sideways and we slid to an abrupt halt.

"Sh**," Aizawa cursed, throwing his door open.

I kicked my own door open and stepped out, immediately scanning our surroundings. So far, the only danger I saw was the burning barricade in front of us.

"Kirishima-!"

A body slammed into my back and I went tumbling to the ground, rolling over and under a body. When we finally stopped rolling, I was under the person, and I looked to see who it was.

"Well, once we get rid of you, we'll be able to brainwash him so much easier," a black haired male said, pressing his palm to my bare chest.

I hardened my body, grabbed Dabi's jacket, and punched him hard in the face while I rolled over on top of him.

"Strong as ever," he said, and I noticed the indent in his face that my fist had left. "But how long will you be able to hold out...?"

With that, his body melted into nothing but mud.

"Shoot," I said, quickly standing up and scanning my surroundings.

I was alone. I don't know what had happened, but I had been separated from Aizawa and the rest of my classmates. Maybe that was the villains' plan all along.

I turned myself in the direction of the smoke and ran that way, hoping I would find somebody there. Along the way, I kept my eye out for more of Twice's clones. I hated those things.

I heard guns firing and people shouting, but I couldn't tell which direction it was coming from, or how far away they were. As far as I knew, I could be 20 feet or 20 miles away from any allies.
