You watched Sapnap adjust his tie, making it perfect like the rest of his outfit, suit jacket wrinkle-free and clean, trousers ironed and pressed, shirt a sparkling white and shoes polished. A stark change from how he was usually.

You were dressed the way he liked it.

Spraying some cologne, he turned to look at you, gesturing for you to smile. "We're going somewhere good today! Recommended by a friend!"

Forcing a smile out, you took his hand and let him lead you outside, frowning when the sun shone in your face. The last time you had left the house, it had been snowing. Another "date", a Christmas one, where you were dragged to the movies to watch some new Christmas blockbuster.

He opened the car door for you, letting you enter and then slamming it behind you. To anyone else, he would seem like the perfect gentleman, not letting you lift a finger for yourself. To you, his actions minimised the chances of you escaping. As if proving your point, he locked the doors when he entered, giving a warning glance when you moved to open the windows.

You sighed, knowing this was going to be a long evening.

Everything was practically rehearsed. He opened the car door for you, and you held onto his arm, smiling as naturally as you could in order to seem like a normal couple, and you two walked into the restaurant. After that, it was up to him to decide on everything and talk to the waiters, all you had to do was maybe smile and nod a few times.

"Isn't this place good?" Sapnap asked, hand reaching over to grip yours tightly.

You gulped. "Yeah, it's very..." your mind scrambled to think of an adjective he would approve of. "...fancy?"

Tension released from your body when he nodded approvingly, letting go of your hand and fiddling with the cutlery on the table. "I wish I could take you out more often, you know?"

Then let me out of the goddamn basement you crazy person.

"Why don't you?" you tested the waters, knowing that he wouldn't cause a scene somewhere public, even if you might regret it later. The scar on your neck, concealed behind makeup, almost throbbed as a warning, but you ignored it.

"You know the answer to that, don't you?" he smiled, his eyes still remaining emotionless. A warning.

"What can I get for you two today?" The waiter appeared from nowhere, not knowing how he had just saved you from Sapnap. "Any drinks or appetizers?"

"We'll get the Saturday special, thank you," Sapnap answered for the both of you as usual.

"Both of you?"

"Of course."

You tensed, recognising the change in tone, Sapnap feeling threatened by something as simple as a waiter checking the order. He glared at the waiter's back until he was out of sight, fists clenching. "So you decide to flirt right in front of me, huh?"

"What?"

Out of all the things Sapnap had done to you-and there were a lot-this had to be the most stupid thing you had ever heard. Yes, he was crazy and possessive, but surely not this possessive. You hadn't even made eye contact with the stupid waiter, how on earth were you flirting?

"I'm trying to make this a nice date, and you flirt with the waiter. You're mine, you know that."

"I do, I do, just please don't-"

His fist slammed down on the table, glasses and cutlery rattling. The people around you looked over, whispering to each other, but Sapnap didn't seem to care, focused on his imaginary situation of you flirting with the waiter. "You're mine."

Standing up, he grabbed your wrist and yanked you up, ignoring the whispers from other customers or the confusion from the staff. You just let him, tripping up over your own feet as he reached the car door. "You love me, don't you?" Gripping your shoulders, he forced you to make eye contact, completely unhinged. "You love me."

"Yes-yes I do!"

"Good." Moving you like a ragdoll, he smashed your head against the car, watching you with cold eyes, doing it again when he realised you weren't unconscious. Hot blood trickled down your forehead, black spots appearing in the edge of your vision, and Sapnap kissed where the blood was, rubbing your back as if he was comforting you to sleep.

"Goodnight. Maybe next time we can have a good date."
