Lumine just stood still, and fell to her knees. You rushed to her side and wrapped your arms around her.
"If only I were stronger and faster then I could have gotten to him..." Lumine stared at the ground, tears streaming down her face. "Lumine look at me." Lumine did as you asked. You cupped her face and wiped her tears. "Lumine darling, it wasn't your fault. You are strong, you're brave and so much more. I'm grateful we had encountered during our journeys."

It hurt you to see her so upset and the way her brother refused to cooperate and go home with her until she finished her own journey.
